You are arguing against a strawman. Most democrats dont want equality of outcome. The rest of the civilized world has an affordable public healthcare option for everyone already. www.cnbc.com/amp/2019/02/11/this-is-the-real-reason-most-americans-file-for-bankruptcy.html
@davidgooley89403 жыл бұрын
@@philipmcgee8425 think about this perspective. The best health insurance you can have is proper health maintenance. This includes what you eat and the condition of your body. Outside of accidents resulting in broken bones or harm against the body, anybody who takes proper care of their body and doesn't pollute it with toxins and poisons will never need to see a doctor for any reason. The only way to avoid the toxins and poisons that are in foods because of processing is by growing your own food and do not use the toxic and poisonous -cides (insect, herb, etc.). As for medical debt, you can blame the insurance companies that coerced the hospitals into raising their prices so the insurance companies could charge what they do. As for your aunt scenario, there is another issue involved, and that is everyone is living for themselves rather than for their entire family. What you as a Democrat wants is casting the responsibility of paying for medical coverage on the entirety of society rather than you taking personal responsibility for your own health. That is a prime example of irresponsibility and laziness, and Democrat politicians takes advantage of that and panders to those whims and makes a gash into a gaping wound.

@Chumnley snoop The Bible asks us to love our neighbour as ourselves. That extends to everyone. Jesus asks us to pray for our enemies, to bless those who curse us, and tells us that God is an impartial Judge. Jesus talks about the distinction between the world and the believers, there is no separation or demarcation of race in that.

@Chumnley snoop I'm sorry if u felt that I was being mad at you. I wasn't, i was just wondering why the Bible is being dragged onto the social justice or racial inequality scenario, the Bible clearly does not endorse racial oppression or inequality. Now in my opinion racial tensions are not something that you see in the forefront today, it's usually a clash between ideologies and feelings. If we live in a democracy we are given the right to pursue our beliefs with considerable restrictions. But that doesn't change the Bible, the Word of God is the same yesterday, today and forever, simply because the world changes or cultures and lifestyles change it doesn't affect the Bible. It is written for all times, what people are trying to do is interpret the Bible based on their own worldviews and convictions instead if one believes that the Bible is the true Word of God then that should be the focal point of basing our opinions and beliefs, secularism as it is now does not go hand in hand with the Bible on many fronts such as abortion, divorce, feminism in its present form etc. One can't just cherry pick. ✌️

@@duncescotus2342 the constitution did not give us the 3/5. The constitution gave us 5/5. Men made laws to make it 3/5 because they knew the constitution was making it clear that all men were created equal or they would have been o/5. They did not want to lose what they had altogether. It was wrong. The constitution is the document that made it clear it was wrong. It led to a war. A dear price was paid. We still struggle today in places. It allowed for slaves to be counted at 3/5 of a man for purposes of representation in the House, while not requiring a single concession to the institution of slavery. The return for this gain in representation was to be higher taxes. It gave the South a historical edge in terms of votes in the House of Representatives that they would never have had if slaves were counted as property, which in a de-facto sense they were. @Chumnley snoop from a biblical perspective ALL are sinners and evil in and of themselves. The Bible says Our self righteousness is a filthy smelly disgusting mentral rags compared to God's holiness. That doesnt mean naturally evil men cant do a good deed...but we cannot save ourselves from the coming judgment by our good deeds because our sinful nature must be changed....that is what being born again is all about when we repent and believe the Gospel and receive Jesus as Lord and savior...HIS righteousness is imputed upon us. So i would encourage you to take the time....as a truth seeker...to listen to the whole video before coming to too many conclusions. I read Pastor Baucham's book, Fault Lines, and it blew my socks off. It was such an in-depth, well-researched, and cogent treatment of CRT (Critical Race Theory), CSJ (Critical Social Justice) theory, and its beginnings, practices, and goals. I now see it for what Pastor Baucham calls it: Ethnic Gnosticism. This is what he calls the false religion of CRT/CSJ. Absolutely AMAZING book' this sermond is a snippet of what the book goes into in great fact-based deptch. I used to attend Matt Chandler's church in Flower Mound Texas (Pastor Baucham mentions him in his book), and Pastor Chandler is now a pro-CRT/CSJ advocate. He has fallen apostate and needs to be pulled from the pulpit. I watched what I would call "Matt Chandler worship" when I attended that church. People worshipped HIM, not God. Once he preached (which was always first, then the worship of the Lord after that), at least 50% of the church literally got up and left. They were not interested in the actual worship of the Lord. That wasn't why they were there. It appears that God is sifting the church; he is using the CRT/CSJ ideology/religion as a winnowing fork. Woke pastors will fall. Biblical pastors with humble God-fearing hearts--like Pastor Baucham--will be set apart as God's own. It will be interesting to see the sifting process as God uses this false religion of Critical Race Theory and Critical Social Justice Theory--and its minions and teachers--to actually strengthen His church and remove those to whom God will say, "Depart from me, I never knew you."
@arentube81233 жыл бұрын
My takeaway: Social justice as understood in popular culture and modern academic circles is not justice at al because it does not consider a person's contribution to society and the only form of justice that can reward you based on your actual societal contributions is God's justice.
@arentube81233 жыл бұрын
@robert nance The taxonomy of race is a man created concept that did not exist at the time the Bible was written. Racism is simply the use of that taxonomy. If social justice employs the idea that we have used that taxomony in the past to create injustice and that we must now re-use that taxonomy to "reconcile" those injustices, then it is obvious that social justice will simply result in a never ending loop where today's redistribution simply becomes the future injustice. The Bible simply does not support the idea that this is representative of God's justice. God did not redistribute wealth from the Pharaohs to the Israelite. He punished the Pharaohs and freed Israel. God's justice is a heart issue and a God's law issue.
@arentube81233 жыл бұрын
@robert nance God does not care about race. That is a concept that you and others have created in your minds. God is going to judge you for who you are. Treating the individual unjustly, in God's eyes is a sin. As Voddie pointed out. If you are engaging in the practice of separating people into groups that you created, and then you are ascribing guilt to one group, taking from them under threat of force, and then giving what was theirs to another group, then you are definitely acting unjustly towards those individuals and that is a sin. racism is merely the combination of race (roughly translating to type) and ism (a practice). Racism is engaging in any practice that separates people into races. It is not a sin in itself (or good or evil). Enslaving people is bad, stealing from people is bad, threatening people is bad. Racism is merely a practice for grouping people. It has historically been used so that people can rationalize treating others unjustly. Social justice depends upon racism. It cannot result in biblical justice

@Chumnley snoop it's obvious you just love to hear yourself talk since you commented on about every damn comment on here. I'm not his sheep because I never heard of him before this. You want everything about God explained to you in worldly terms. Worldly terms are supremely faulty and supremely lacking in the truth far too many times. The world is full of Injustice and always will be. Get over it. The sooner you do the sooner you may be able to acclimate to living. Justice is not brought about by the world, no matter how much we desire it or think that we can classify it. Laws do not change the hearts of men, only humility, cooperation, service to others instead of one's self and love can change the hearts of men in a positive fashion. Those are the most important tenets of God's law and how biblical Justice is brought about. Selfishness is the root of all evil and unfortunately the root of all humans. Focusing on the color of your skin is selfish and self-centered. Not to mention self-important. We need to focus on our faults and the color of our skin is not one of them. Focusing on that is just a sinful distraction that works far too well. Trying to implement social justice does nothing but breed more racism and hatred. That should be extremely evident when you look at what's going on in our society right now. It does, in fact, do nothing but create even more inequality. A problem trying to fix a problem creating even more problems.

Hello! I happened to see one of your videos preaching on you tube yesterday and I can't explain how you have touched my heart and soul, I've been out of church for a while, I haven't given up though. I've been so confused about religion though, growing up my mother had us kids in different evangelical churches, pentecostal which I still have nightmares about how they were jumping on the pews, running, and claiming the devil was in this one lady screaming and shaking I was so scared, I remember hiding under a pew for a long time! but I just remembered also how something just didn't seem real, like there was a lot faking going on. My mother believes and would rather be in those types of churches, she always, along with everyone else I said it didn't matter what religion or denomination you went to as long as you go. So that's the way I was told and was raised. But when I watch you preaching on the differences and beliefs, somehow it made since why I was never comfortable or felt like the Lord wasn't there, forgive me if I'm wrong about that. I have done studies on alot of different religions and there beliefs, and in my heart the main religion that truly went by everything that was in the bible was the Baptist, it's was the only one I found that didn't have alot of made -up beliefs that isn't biblical. I know you are probably thinking why I'm even asking then, it's just it's been so instilled in me by my mother that ALL churches are good and believes in God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost, especially evangelical and pentecostal, Mormon, and so on I do know now that that my Mom really never did any research or anything, just thought they were right about their beliefs and speaking in tongues and jumping on the pews. I feel like I'm right about the research I've done, that we have to be saved to go to Heaven through Jesus Christ, and live what the bible teaches only! My mother and others think I'm crazy. But can you please help me. I just want to get my life right with Jesus and do what He wants me to do and do his will and serve Him. Are all churches ok to go to as long as you go? I hope to hear from you soon, thanks and thank you for your ministry, God bless!

The Lord brought the book to my attention in His rescue of me. You're experience is not unique. Please know that? You're not alone regarding the events you described. I've lived on three continents and I love to travel, so, I've been to quite a few Charismatic meetings around the world. I am still in the process of listening to this message in its entirety and I do understand from what is being said that the true definition of social justice is not the same as the idea of social justice which is embraced by the majority of people who are in favor of what they are calling social justice. I understand that there is a difference between the academic concept of social justice and the understanding by the general population as to what social justice really entails. My question is that when we as Christians denounce something like social justice are we doing the corresponding self evaluation to understand what in our failng to live out the gospel has created a vacuum in our society so that ideological aberrations such as "social justice" have so much room to thrive? Can we as a body of believers in Jesus honestly say and have accompanying proof that the church at large has demonstrated biblical justice? And while we are educating the masses about the dangers of the counterfeit of social justice are we at the same time doing all that we can by the grace of God to establish biblical justice? If we are not doing that then we are pretty much just arguing about semantics and we are plucking out the spec in the eye of unbelievers mostly while failing to address the enormous log that has been in our eyes.

Thank you for helping to restore my faith that there are those who call themselves Christians, who are still asking the simple questions which are seeking the heart of God and in the example of Christ. This is a well crafted academic work which points out some problematic consequences of modern ideology, but only contributes to the distraction of Christians being caught up in a culture war that doesn't really include the Kingdom of God. It also fails, as you've pointed out, to address why this current aggressive over correction has life today, and what the church's part is in getting to this place. II Chronicles 7:14

I would have to agree, the church must hold its self accountable before the world. That we must not forget that the church is not Christ, the people are not Christ, only Jesus is the Christ and he alone is perfect people might hate Christians but no one has the right to hate Jesus.

I can’t help think that If the church implemented biblical justice then the state wouldn’t need to intervene.

The reality is that the church has failed in practicing biblical justice. Look at how most evangelicals embraced trumpism and greed.

Thank you. I've been scanning comments to see if my fellow brethren understand this. We all agree sin is what makes these things thrive yet not many Christians are willing to reckon with the sinful use of the faith by mankind to oppress. Racism is sin because it's against God’s golden commandment, love thy neighbor as yourself. We can't deny history and turn around and point blame without accepting we are part of the problem too.

God bless you, Pastor Baucham. God bless you, Coral Ridge. May God continue to use you mightily for His glory. You have given me an increase in knowledge and understanding today, and the hope that comes from hearing the truth proclaimed. God bless you!

Never heard of Voddie. I came upon one of his sermons and my 11th grader asked if I was listening to Voddie Baucham.... I asked how she knew who he was and she said she saw a few of his sermons in her Apologetics class in school. She said she really likes him. I need to thank her school for introducing him to her. Gotta love a pastor who sticks to the word of God and not just his opinion.

Amen brother Baucham! I recently heard a teaching at a local church that we were considering attending in Southern California called "Water of Life" that welcomed a guest pastor who spoke on systematic racism in America by misusing scripture to get his message across. Thank God for the Lord's discernment. I turned to my wife and told her that unfortunately we were will still looking for a church.

Concise, clear, unapologetic teaching on what is behind 'Social Justice' movement. May our Lord bless and keep Voddie Baucham in the palm of His hand and continue to use his voice like that of John The Baptist.

Voddie just keeps on speaking the truth in love. So thankful for his wisdom and ability to share.
