@JL LJ And if they compare the ratio of how many blacks have done these things to blacks ? This is a much bigger problem that popular culture is not dealing with except to say that it is, like everything else, due to white racism. That is an indication of some deeper problem.

I agree. Jesus saved the "oppressed" and rarely a Pharisee. All through school kids separated according to all sorts of things with race being just one. Kids always try to marginalize others. This to me is just our sinful natures on display. We need "saved" from that! Not our skin color, or Smart or average, or Play sports/don't play. @@kathypileggi7650 With respect, though I agree people shouldn't take the "vaccine," it's NOT the mark of the beast. First, we need the beast on the scene and there is none. Second, when everyone takes that mark, they will know s/he is taking it and submitting to the beast. One cannot accidentally, unknowingly take the mark. Comments like this cause unnecessary concern and worries among believers. Personally, I believe in (and there's strong scriptural support for) a pre-trib rapture, exempting God's children from His wrath upon the earth that Revelation predicts, so we won't be here to see the beast or wonder about taking the mark. 🙂

Interesting. You're mad people have different interpretations of a book written and transcribed (in most languages) by men who were not divinities, nor always inspired by God? Faith is personal, and only God knows our hearts. Each Christian derives from the Bible what he will, based on any number of factors, which are too numerous to enumerate here. It's why some believe in Biblical literalism, while others favor a historical-critical analysis, but both help inform the never-ending arguments over Biblical meaning. Some Christians (and others) understand reading the Bible literally, as written, can be a vice hobbling truth. Learning the difference between the "God of Faith" and the "Historical Jesus," which are not the same things, might help individuals discern meaning.
@marktombazian6490
@marktombazian6490 3 жыл бұрын
@@kevinboone2178 you posted this 5x, like you were Afraid you didn't make the point? 1) I'm not mad or angry, I don't care, ok? Believe what you want, you'll find out when you die if you were right. You can the any stance or position you want, it doesn't matter. What is true doesn't change. It's your perception that changes based on understanding. You think the world is flat or round is your belief, but either way it's yours. Truth is, it doesn't matter. You don't matter except to you & maybe God, whether or not you believe in God, & even then it doesn't matter if God wants you, God will take you. And if not, he won't. Prosperity is an ideal of ego, spirit, soul that comes in many forms. Depending on the person and their needs & wants, which are 2 different things, qualifies their sense of prosperity. I can go on but that's enough for now. Don't multi post again, rather stupid to do.

True. Yet those that point can only 'make one think'. It is God Himself that Saves one soul at a time for the gift of a converted soul through & for His Son Jesus. And then Jesus in turn gives the gift of the redeemed soul back to the Father. And now that soul is LIGHT! Not white, black or tan...but LIGHT! Light that praises and gives glory to God forever and ever.

Voddie Baucham showed up in my feed today. Never heard of him, as I do not travel in Christian circles and I'm not religious. However, I am deeply entrenched in my fight against the left and the marxist social justice movement plauging western culture currently. Watching a couple of his speeches further convinced me that we need true spiritual leaders now more than ever. As western society has moved further and further from its Judeo-Christian roots, the vacuum created has enabled the marxists to subvert our institutions from within and now we are dealing with what I believe to be the greatest crisis of the 21st century. Morality is not open to interpretation and its not dictated based on the whimsical feelings and fads of these leftist, post-modernists. Morality is objective. There is right and there is wrong and there are degrees of right and wrong. I'm heartened to see someone so in tune with the what is happening in these dark and uncertain times. I know I can trust this man to speak truth and lead people down the right path.

Even Pastor John MacArthur is all over on Grace to You is attacked because he stays true to the word of God. The world, the flesh and the devil are all against The Creator. Pray for God to turn souls to Christ and never find fault with another in hatred but directionally get them to think about their own souls and reconciling their sinful nature with Holy God. That's what matters.

We are humans, yes. And God's not blind. Native Blacks Americans (NBAs) have had to fight for their humanity. Always. And here we are. So, why do the hosts, and Dr. Baucham, and so many in the comments, blame Blacks for fighting back? The NBA and people-of-color (POC) demographic will shortly be a majority; most will insist all Americans live absent favored status. Can folks with a straight-face say the playing field is level -- if so, when did it happen, and where? Furthermore the Bible will not save anyone or group that believes the God of creation approves the circumstance to which NBAs are by design seen and treated. Considering their free and low-wage labors made possible America's stealth economics, it's horrific what was perpetrated against them. Why is the on-average net wealth of households headed by NBA college graduates much less than ones headed by White H.S. dropouts? The "blank check," the one Dr. M.L. King mentioned in his 1963 "I Have A Dream" speech, where is it? The "40-Acres & $50 (per Reconstruction legislative language), where is it? The 1M Black farms purchased from the late 1880s to the 1980s, 34,000 are left...what happened? Property confers wealth and political power, where is ours? 6,500 Black people have been lynched...what's that all about? All Lives Matter...Say What...LOL. NBAs will never understand ALM until reparative justice is done. What do Evangelical Christian brethren think should be done, if anything.

@Kimberly York I read most of Deangelo and all of Kendi. This Critical Race Theory is fine in academia, because that is where people develop new theories on this and that. Unfortunately it has been retailed to everybody else. What are 5-year-olds to do with a concept like White Privilege? That is miseducation for the white and nonwhite. My problem with the bookstore is the fact that the sign said it was Christian. Christ is the Way. Christ told us the way to be anti-racist and nonfragile. Love your neighbor. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Forgive those who wrong you and God will forgive you. Always remember that we were all created in the Image of God. That about covers it.

@Kimberly York Those injustices you list were awful. The people that did it may have believed they were Christians but no, they did not follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. My white skin doesn't lump me with them unless we are to be judged by the color of our skin. Only a few people alive today were part of the Jim Crow system. Only a few of the living suffered under it. Maybe they should get reparations, as they were not allowed to do the things required to get ahead. Do you inherit the sins of your ancestors? I think not.. The soul who sins is the one who will die. A son will not bear the iniquity of his father, and a father will not bear the iniquity of his son. The righteousness of the righteous man will fall upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked man will fall upon him. Bible > Ezekiel > Chapter 18 > Verse 20 A loving and just God allows us to go forth without dragging the past along with us. It will hobble all of us. More injustices will be created. More people will have that burden to drag along.

@Kimberly York Your original reply to me said I was slapping everything as Marxist. This one does too. I never mentioned Marxism. I spent 31 years teaching elementary school in rural Virginia. When I began, there were confused white kids saying, "My dad says bad things about black people, but Ashley is all right" (referring to a classmate). There were angry dark-skinned kids who apparently had gotten the message they were not as good as the light-skinned. For the most part, there was not a lot of race talk and, no, they did not come to school with consciousness of oppression. By 2018, there was even less. Lots of black kids were middle class. This is in a rural county in Virginia, 60 miles from the Capital of the Confederacy. That is progress we should be happy about. Our history is enough to make anybody angry, but I cannot see a good future for me OR YOU in dragging it along. My family is multiracial and that's not at all rare. So is my circle of friends. We joke around and laugh like any group of friends without hyperconsciousness of microaggression. Because we are friends. I fear that the present Antiracist regime will make this rare.

@Kimberly York First of all, you don't know much of anything about me. Your vision is of us and them. I am them, the oppressor, etc. You are responsible for only what you have decided to do and to believe. If any of your ancestors committed crimes, the guilt died with them. That only makes sense. The same with me. I am old enough to have been part of a lot of the Jim Crow era sins, but I wasn't. Actually, I lived in a part of the country where there were very few blacks. Kids my age learned about the situation in other parts of the country on the evening news. No way did "consciousness of anti blackness" start very young. It never started, period. I can only speak for me and my family. Your view is so polarized. We may be associated with collectives, but in the end we only have control over ourselves. The Lord loves us equally, as we were both created in His Image. His word brings healing and love, not division and retribution.

Voddie has such a calm and soothing voice to listen to. There is no yelling or belittling of those that disagree but, explaining in love why the ideas of Marxism and CRT are so bad. If everyone was this loving in their rebukes, maybe the other side would stop and listen. Too many want to use their Bible to physically beat their opponents upside the head instead of letting God call them to truth.

This mans sermon about living in a community of an opposite race then you and you being pretty much being the only one as well, and the way he put power behind the telling of that experience and what he learned had me thinking he was telling my story, in terms of becoming familiar, accepting, accepted. He also touched on gaining the understanding behind the power in learning how to culturally transform your social interactions in a way that makes it easier for people to see you as familiar opening conversation up to learn from one another.

I am so happy that GOD is calling this man to prominence at this time in history. I see people in the spirit, the HOLY SPIRIT and I can tell who is in it and who is not, no matter the color the skin their soul travels around in. Voddie is a critical person to hear in these times to not only promote peace but to remind people that the end of this leads to JESUS CHRIST. Lies permeate this world and they are rampant in these days, never forget what JESUS said about the AUTHOR of every lie and who is behind ever one. Seek the LORD, worship and praise his name in these days, he is our ROCK and our DOOR to the father!

As a white South African who grew up during Apartheid how I wish that ALL South Africans could read your book. 80% Of South Africans are confessing christians but the same divide exists i.e. saviour theology versus liberation theology .Sadly Marxism rules our country and CRT is the accepted gospel in and outside of church.Please remember our country in your prayers.Our country is on the verge of “ restitution” by expropriation of “ white”property without any compensation etc. a looming catastrophe is on hand let us hope there will be pieces left to pick up once the raging anger has exhausted itself. Thank you for encouraging christians to accept the bible as our only source for a truthful world view.God bless this work.

I want to say this out of Love. Come on people stop pretending lol. I'm sure it makes people feel better thinking there is no color barrier, but I'm sixty years old and been a believer for 35 of that. In 86 I attended a predominantly white bible school, I lived in the dorms where most of the students were white. Many had never worshiped at a black church or had many interactions with many people of color. That does not make them racist but did create uncomfortable divisions, like many of them did not know much about Laws like Jim Crowe. (I guess the teacher skipped that in history class) If skin color does not matter in the body of Christ, what was that whole civil rights thing about, are we thinking that none of the whites that were beating on those black protesters were confessing Christians, who preached the gospel to sinners? The thing that worries me the most is not the sinful actions of racism, but the denial of it. Like it or not, this is a part of America's history, as well as in the church. (study church history) saying Amen! and thanking God that these black men are in the body of Christ, is kinda similar to saying, "I'm glad we got Lebron James on our basketball team" (Give that some thought). Trying to ease America's conscience by ignoring this issue, can't be good spiritually. All men are sinners, but all men don't struggle with the same sins, and some sins are lifelong struggles. denying it sin, does not make it go away.

You obviously don’t understand what the C R T cult is about, nor do you understand that it’s the direct OPPOSITE of biblical justice. Good grief, biblical illiteracy is rampant, and leading many straight to damnation. Cr!tical R@ce The0ry is about social EQUITY, not equality. That means C R T says if you work 12 hrs a day, and your neighbors refuse to work, they should have the EXACT SAME THING YOU DO, even though they did no work at all. They’ve redefined r@cism to mean lack of equity among the races. NOTHING IN NATURE WORKS ACCORDING TO EQUITY. Jesus says each man receives ACCORDING TO HIS WORKS. Scripture says the man who doesn’t work, doesn’t eat. C R T is a S0CIALIST/M@RX!ST, C0MMUN!ST DOCTRINE AIMED AT WIPING CHRISTIANITY FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH. It has NOTHING to do with what you and I understand r@cism to be. IT IS A LIE FROM HELL THAT HAS NO PLACE IN THE CHURCH!! You want to know the lunacy of it? If you’re white and driving through town and you have green lights all the way through, and the man behind you a ways back is black and the lights were all red for him, then it’s because of your WH!TE PR!V!LEGE that you got all green lights. Get it? The traffic lights knew you were white and were green for you. Or a white student gets a A on their science project, but the black student gets a B, it’s because of white pr!vilege. It’s the idea that REVERSE R@C!SM WILL END R@CISM! And they say our Lord Jesus Christ WHO DIED FOR ALL PEOPLE, is A RACIST! Anyone who supports this antichrist dem0nic, anti-biblical, anti-Christianity, CULT OF H@TE, should NOT call themselves a Christian, because ANYONE WHO IS FRIENDS WITH THE WORLD IS AN ENEMY OF GOD, James 4:4. May I drop dead before I ever blaspheme my Lord Jesus Christ and support a CULT who calls Him a RACIST, like you do. The Church is to preach the gospel of Christ, because only salvation and being born again will change the heart of a man, and only Jesus can turn people from hate for others, to love.

So, when you are working so hard to quote the bible to fit your self-justification viewpoint. White Christians were doing what you are condemning for many years before what you are seeing now. I do not agree biblically with the social justice/woke viewpoint, but did you ever think that this is a reaction to all the unbiblical actions that the American Churches did for years, and seems to be continuing today, either perpetrated or stood idly by doing nothing. Not allowing Black people to have access to good biblical schools in the past because they did not believe blacks were on with Christ. All this as you said is easily accessible on the internet. White Christians justified not allowing blacks from attending church services with whites, using scripture. . You don't have to search so hard to find that answer. Why does that not bother you or give you pause? I'm not sure if your white or not, does not really matter, why are you so bewildered about what is going on. Social justice being taught in the black churches is nothing new. You would know that if you've been in one the past 60years, As I said, biblically it is incorrect, but, why is it concerning white Christians now? We know the bible is true, but we know that every man is a liar. Not accepting the scriptures teaching that we are one in Christ in this country, according to American history, was not started by blacks, my friend. Stop quoting scripture for a min, and read a little American History, and Church History, before replying. That might help@@Redeemed.of.YHVH.thru.Christ

Oh, one more point. kingdoms will rise and fall, but because of Jesus finished work on the cross accomplished, God's kingdom is everlasting Like 1:31-33. God's kingdom can't be wiped out by wrong theology or wrong beliefs. You don't lose your salvation based on a lack of biblical knowledge. Salvation is by faith alone, and that faith to believe is a free unmerited gift. So, looks like you have a work righteous salvation by what you're saying. @@Redeemed.of.YHVH.thru.Christ

-- Almost all of those I see on social media criticizing Critical Race Theory don't seem to have a very good understand of what it is. The way I see it, if they can't answer at least half of the following basic questions about Critical Race Theory correctly, they can't possible have well informed opinions on the topic. In one sentence, what is Critical Race Theory? (If you can't define something in one sentence, you don't have clear idea of what it is). Why would the Nazis have hated Critical Race Theory? What problem did legal scholars wrestle with in the 1970s that eventually led to the founding of the Critical Race Theory movement? Who is the Godfather of Critical Race Theory and how did he shatter the shining image of a celebrated Supreme Court civil rights ruling? What is the Interest-Convergence Dilemma? What was “The Alternative Course?” Name three of the founders of the Critical Race Theory movement? Who coined the term "Critical Race Theory" and what did it mean? Is Critical Race Theory a noun or a verb? Name one of the key tenets of Critical Race Theory? How did you do?
