Maria's Love Point Bed and Breakfast Wedding Video // Rebecca + David // Amor Verdadero

We were so happy to be able to film the wedding of Becky and David, good friends of a good friend of ours! In fact, our friend had the honor of being one of David’s best men at this wedding! This beautiful event took place in the middle of summer on the historic Kent Island, Maryland, the largest island in the Chesapeake Bay.
Becky and David met when David and his family began attending Becky’s church. They both were members of the church’s band and soon became fast friends. During a phone conversation one evening, David’s words felt more special to her than ever. His statements meant so much that she immediately began seeing him in a new light. She knew from that point onward that he was the one destined to be her husband. David’s change of heart towards Becky occurred, of all times, while he was watching a puppet show she performed for the children at church! You just never know when and where your actions will touch someone’s heart!
The couple’s entire wedding event was filled with such deep emotion… and everyone involved knew that it was going to be even before it began. Their theme centered around one that has great meaning to us as well, the cord of three strands, as ‘a cord of three strands is not easily broken’. They incorporated this ceremony in their marriage service, and tied the strands around an anchor, another reoccurring theme at their beautiful wedding.
Their day began that morning at Maria’s Love Point Bed & Breakfast, the location that would soon host their ceremony and reception. Becky’s bridesmaids wore pretty matching floral robes as they prepared and admired Becky having her hair done and makeup professionally applied by Josie’s Faces. It wasn’t long before she was putting on that gorgeous wedding gown! It was a lace covered fit and flare silhouetted dress with a sparkling beaded belt and lace cap sleeves. We loved how it laced down the back! She accented her dress with lustrous pearls, a beaded headband and a lace trimmed mid-length veil for the ceremony. Becky looked absolutely beautiful! Her parents received their first look of the graceful bride as she descended the staircase at the venue and were totally overjoyed. We loved how her father mentioned that David wasn’t going to fare well when he saw her!
As Becky’s beautiful bridesmaids put on their strapless pink dresses at Maria’s Love Point B & B, over at Becky’s home, the groomsmen dressed into their dark suits with pink ties to coordinate with the bridesmaids. To stand apart from the groomsmen, David wore a pink striped tie. Their chosen wedding colors of pink and royal blue looked terrific together throughout this event. The men said a prayer together and were off to the venue!
Before the ceremony began, the couple closed their eyes and held hands around a wall at the venue. They didn’t want a first look, but did want time together to pray before the ceremony. David said a touching prayer as his emotions ran so high at that moment. Their ceremony was just about to begin outside with the serene Chesapeake Bay and Chester River as the backdrop. Becky and David’s ceremony was held in Spanish and even though we didn’t speak the language, we completely understood the sentiments.

Maria’s Love Point Bed & Breakfast had a wonderful white tent set up for Becky and David’s reception. Lovely white string lights lined the edges and draped down from the ceiling. The grounds around the tent were also simply stunning. Violets Florist did a magnificent job with the flowers and décor for the whole day, including the bridal party’s soft pink bouquets, lantern centerpieces at the reception and sea star and seashell decorations at the ceremony location… perfect for this nautical wedding.
We heard the most touching speeches and toasts from the maid of honor, the two best men (David’s friend and his younger brother), their parents and even from the bride and groom themselves that evening. And we also enjoyed the slide show featuring the lives of Becky and David that played during dinner. It was all very moving.
After the dancing concluded, the happy couple was given a fantastic sparkler salute to send them off to start their new life together in marriage. It was such a spectacular evening filled with heartfelt love and joy. Congratulations to Becky and David!

Don't even know this couple but watched this video because of the bed and breakfast my husband and I have just booked for an overnight. What a BEAUTIFUL union! Thanks for posting this wonderful marriage celebration. To God be the glory.
