Other Android devices do the same thing as long as they're offering you recommendations on the home screen they just don't go into detail like Amazon does about what they're doing

What I meant with my earlier comment is all the apps keep track of what you're watching It is called continue watching or watch history Amazon just added it to the home screen to help you keep track of what you're watching so you do not have to open the app and third party apps do not show up in the continue watch area on the fire TV home screen bet but just about every app have a continue watching section Google and Roku do this too

I don't think it's arrived in the uk yet and I have the cube 3rd gen and the latest 4k max but I will keep checking for piece of mind definitely a no no when it does arrive ,also I use android devices and buy the majority of them from Amazon, now every time I get an update on my Amazon cube and 4k max I buy another android device😂 do you think they will eventually get the message seeing as they like monitoring people's habits , big brother is watching and little brother is watching back

I got a firestick given when they first arrived on the scene when I bought a phone and I never even took the wrapping off the box and sold it for a tenner never liked em no storage and no usb ports android box from day one well 2014 when they come on the scene and I'd love to know how many updates from the firesticks release has there been cuz it seems an update is every 2 months its ridiculous

You do know these apps that people like to use whether the third party got built in continue watching so regardless everybody knows what people watch

Define "everybody".. Sure, the app developer could potentially know what you're watching, but unless you accept this permission (or actually leave it enabled, since it's on by default), Amazon (and whoever they decide to share that info with) wouldn't know. Additionally, with a decent VPN, your ISP won't either. This may not be a concern for certain mainstream 3rd party apps like Starz for example, but let's say hypothetically in certain circumstances that I will not elaborate on here, there could be some apps that you don't want ANYONE to see what you're doing.

You can add a USB thumb drive, format it to fat32 when the stick asks, select internal storage, go to applications, go to auto app offload, and turn it off. some apps, Max, Paramount Plus, Plex, PBS, Haystack News, Cartoon Lane, games, A.D. 2442, air assault, air combat, air strike crazy run, Alpha Guns free, Alpha Guns 2, asphalt 8, blast zone 2 lite, crawl of the dead-zombie shooter, dead system, mission destruction, sga:galaxy attack, space shooter, space shooter3d, starburst, starship space Force, strike squad, super mechs battle, super saucer, zombie hunter 3d, zom6squad, Zombieland. Some of these wouldn't work on the newer devices.
