Joe Jonas fondly recalls how James and the Late Late Show helped Joe, Nick and Kevin announce that the brothers were reuniting with a weeklong residency back in March of 2019.

A 1D reunion tour would have to depend whether Harry would actually want to leave his personal and artistic freedom for a nostalgia tour with three other guys. And he would have to accept less money that what he earns on a solo tour. I really don't see 1D making a tour this decade at all. I could kinda imagine a reunion at an event like X Factor. In 2020 would have been great, 10 years of the creation of 1D. But not even a interview with the 4 guys via zoom happened. So, a special one off performance would still be difficult since it would gain too much attention to even more reunion rumors. My point: enjoy the solo material of the lads, since that's all we are getting from them, and that's fine. (I think a collaboration between 2 members is waaay overdue, but bound to happen eventually, I'm betting on Harry and Niall).

Remains my favorite thing you’ve ever done, James. Like… I had the entire week recorded on my DVR that week{but i had to stay up… or at least tried to, the brothers announced their reunion during my freshman year At community college} and it was everything. The Carpool Karaoke, The Year 2019 skit, the interview, etc. And then doing the first ever performance of Sucker, the day it was number one in the U.S? Just perfection. Thank you for bringing the JoBros back into our lives. It was the hope that got me through my freshman year of college.

Glad they helped you through some tough times, I know their old music is not cool enough and their songs from other projects on Disney, are beyond not cool, but there’s really good songs in there, good for anytime. Invisible, fall. You’d find those on the album jonas LA. I know the misconception is that they’re all pizza girl level of cringe, but they’re actually not. Those crappy songs got teenager jonas fans at that time through dark times, when they first were released. Good for reflecting too. I just wish current jonas fans and even the jonas’ themselves, understood why their initial reunion momentum faded/stalled out. It wasn’t because of covid either. Also, the loyalty you give them, they will not give it back, they have a long history of that too. So just protect your heart, don’t let them break it, because the question isn’t will they break your heart, the question is when.

Let the one direction fans be, this is a yearly occasion for their fan base. The 1D reunion hype happens every year, from March 25th until July 23rd, in the one direction world, since 2015. This year is the most wild, since friends of the five boys are getting in on the teasing too. Including Ben Winston and James Corden, who have extremely close friendships with one direction, they are even joining in on the teasing (they no longer have a show to loose for joining in on the fun this year too). It won’t stop until July 24th, when nothing happens by the end of the 23rd (La time too.). Midnight the 24th of July, LA time zone is when it ends, every year without fail. Then the cycle repeats, starting in February the next year. Amping up in March, before going into over drive until the 23rd of July. Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s tend to be the days it is most intense too, every week, until the 23rd of July. (One direction always did major things on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday, still do, just with their solo careers now. Hence why those days of the week being more intense.) [side note, you might want to call yourself a causal directioner, because most directioners expect everyone that is a directioner to know this.]

They are two of the biggest one direction fans on the planet. They know how to properly taunt and tease one direction fans, with us just accepting them as the leaders of our fan base.
