I just got one of these in "wine" color...just to be different. As soon as the seam sealer arrives, I'll set it up and see how my doggies like it. This is a big tent for just me and them, but I'll have a small office set up inside. Pretty excited!

Nice tent! I would recommend smaller foot print in case of inclement weather. Or tuck it so water doesn't drain right underneath your tent

My wife and I are watching you set this up. . The fact yall haven't yelled at each other has me sold... I been using my grandfathers 1990s Coleman and every time we go camping we get into a huge argument setting That damn thing up... I'm sold on this.. How's it in the rain?

man i do not even remember i just got one on amazon that was close to the size of the base of the tent as possible

If anything go slightly smaller just so if it rains the tarp isnt sticking out from under the tent and collecting water. Otherwise you'll have a puddle on your floor!

@@otis6519 I've heard that too and have always done it that way. But last time I set up my Coleman 9x10 Instant, my tarp stuck out a few feet in front of the door. And it worked great for shoes, since my Coleman sadly has not vestibule. I guess when the rains come, everything comes in beforehand...

And when the boss says a generick knot, To impress his daughter, he means the old tryed and true, Granny knot, That Granny calls a figger eight knot, Or Wreath knot, But when you me or you know who do it turns out as a granny knot. I was taken aboard a fishing trawler out of harms way, The Skipper was short handed, The trawl net had a 30' foot tear, I had a good hand for net mending, In a week I was 2nd Mate.

Why do you stake your tarp out? The tent is going to be to be on top of it! Where is it going to go? You installed the guy rope incorrectly! That black fitting on the rope is your adjustment after you tie a loop at the end for the stake!
