in the hotel, theres a core worker on break that tells you the core's inside can be rearranged to be completely different. i imagine this was sans and papyrus's childhood game where they built mazes to then put each other through, which would explain their love for puzzles. also, you didnt have to do this, theres already a leitmotif i found from the track dating start that reappears in original CORE

hey, you're right, that's pretty interesting. there's one thing i noticed in dating start too, there's a short melody that plays at 0:41, 0:45 in dating start. i think it plays on the right side? it's the same melody that plays in "song that might play when you fight sans" around 0:10 and 0:26 on the left side...

@@mnwary To address the latter here, technically not the same melody; both have an "up up, down down" contour, which is the same as Gaster's Theme, but Song That Might Play's intervals are much too wide (especially the first two notes) and Dating Start's are much too thin (and also appear in almost all Snowdin tracks, though admittedly not on the right side). Song That Might Play *does* have an interval match to gaster's theme in that one part of the melody at the end of each phrase of the first half, though it would have been cool if the left/right thing had held more water.
