A fun fact about Papyrus. It's actually heavily implied in an aborted Genocide run that he's capable of using Gaster Blasters. If you spare Papyrus during a Genocide run, then go and hang out with him, his dialogue is this: "How lucky of you! Had I only used my special attack, you surely would have been blasted to... Hey. Wait. Where's my special attack?" This pretty much confirms that Papyrus can use Gaster Blasters. But, knowing him, he probably doesn't use them due to him viewing such an attack as a last resort method. After all, the only real thing holding Papyrus back is his endless kindness. Take that away, and he could probably do some serious damage.

Mettaton (before his EX Form), Mad Dummy, and Napstablook don’t even have death animations, so they definitely wouldn’t be killed by the GB’s. But Jerry would be killed just as easily as other monsters because he only has 80 health, and his high defense is useless against the blasters’ scratch damage. Regarding So Sorry, his annoying ass is coded to take 100 damage from every attack, and the blasters attack many times in a single turn, so he’d also die in one hit. Besides, Undyne has 23,000 HP in her Undying form, but still died in three attacks. So 1100 HP is nothing.

Mettaton NEO also has 30000 HP, but got one-shot, despite the beam seemingly being unaffected by defense. I think what probably happens is that the blaster sets your attack super high, does a hit with the super high attack, but doesn't show it and instead shows a bunch of ones. Thus the scripted fights still end instantly because your attack doesn't matter for those.

Additionally, a player's attack will miss if an enemy's defense lowers its damage below 0 (Ex. Mettaton and Asriel). Undyne the Undying's 99 would certainly do that to a 1 damage attack. It doing more damage to Mettaton NEO than to Undyne the Undying (Established that it ignores defense) is clearly an example of it using your attack stat, despite doing tons of ones suggesting it doesn't.. If it was actually a bunch of ones, the health bar wouldn't be deleted instantly, it would take a good few minutes to actually dish 30000 damage.

I believe an actual blaster wouldn't do multiple attacks, since the only reason sans drains your hp as long as you hit a blaster or bone is because of your KR, so in theory this weapon would legit do 1 damage (or however much your LV lets you do)

its a neat concept, i just wish they had done the full gaster blaster sound effect (with the startup charging sound and the exhale laser sound n stuff) (or if its actually already there.. then i'd wish for it to be louder or more audible )

A really cool detail in this mod would be if you used the gaster blaster on sans, it pointed at sans, and then pointed at you, and then shot YOU, which deals 1 damage with karma throughout your entire hp bar, bringing you to 1 hp. So, you need to keep checking until sans gets tired from ONLY attacking, and you're gonna have to get hit atleast once by the gaster blaster because you need to fight during the spare part. Just a neat detail that I thought they would add to spice up the sans fight.

16:04 The reason Sans got hit was because your GB just does SO MANY attack markers that it ticks the end scene which activates if the attack went twice in one assault. Or in other words, you basically had a bypass key.
