Welcome to Vortex League - six teams facing off against each other in a marble race core destruction battle to take the others down.
Each team has its own weapon loadout and home stadium, with each team playing each other home and away. Match winners walk away with 3 points, the losers get zero.

Weapon Info
Clusters are slow moving, but break into bomblets when they hit something, including enemy weapons.
Ricochets fire 2 projectiles at a time, and bounce around until they hit something, or a set amount of time has expired.
Rockets are fired rapidly, but take time to build up speed using their thrusters. Not very accurate.
Saws can drill through an opponent’s shield and reach the cannon even if the shield is previously unbreached.
Spread shot fires accurately but in a spread of 5 separate shots.
Sticky bombs attach themselves to the opponent’s shields. After a set amount of time, they will explode. If they are hit before they explode, they misfire and deal zero damage.
Swarms fire rapidly but inaccurately, but home in towards the enemy’s cannon.
Healer bot
Healer bot duration is determined by the marble value using a non-linear formula.
Time in seconds = 1 + 0.5555556 * LogBase2( marbleValue ) + 0.038 * marbleValue

I’d call this an upset, Leviathans had (imo) a better kit, and was well set up to keep up shield pressure until that 538 betrayal.

Incredible late game double turn! Leviathan’s were reversing the tide but the Atomics dropped the hammer

*-- Weapons guide --* *Swarms* _(Leviathans primary, Atomics secondary)_ - Targets the opposing core and adjusts course accordingly with increasing speed. Causes minor AOE damage to shields on impact with any surface. *Sticky Bomb* _(Atomics primary)_ - Travels in a straight line and sticks firmly to the first shield it touches. Will explode after a few seconds, causing moderate AOE damage to surrounding shields. Can be cleared if struck with an opposing projectile at any time. *Saws* _(Leviathans secondary)_ - Travels in a straight line with moderate speed. Upon impact with an opposing shield, it slows to a crawl and chews through shields continuously for a few seconds. *Ricochets* _(Leviathans tertiary)_ - Fired in parallel groups of two. Travels quickly in a straight line and causes shield damage on impact. If it hits a wall instead of an opponent's shield, it will reflect off of the wall and continue to travel. *Clusters* _(Atomics tertiary)_ - Travels in a straight line and causes shield damage on impact. Will break into five smaller explosive projectiles on impact that are affected by gravity. All projectiles can be removed from play instantly when colliding with an opposing projectile unless otherwise specified.

Atomics had a decent early advantage w the sticky grenades but that 538 was definitely the deciding factor

It had seemed like an incredible find-a power-up, perhaps, to turn the tide of battle. Little did they know, this marble had a will of its own. As the Leviathans positioned their cannons, lining up the Atomics in their sights for a decisive strike, the iridescent marble began to shimmer and hum. A low, almost imperceptible pulse reverberated through the Leviathans' base. Without warning, their systems malfunctioned-rockets misfired, shields flickered, and crucial mechanisms fell silent. Confusion spread like wildfire among the Leviathans as they struggled to regain control. In the chaos, the marble rolled slowly, almost deliberately, toward the Atomics' side. The Atomics, recognizing the sudden vulnerability of their enemies, seized the moment. The iridescent marble seemed to guide them, revealing weaknesses in the Leviathans' defenses and amplifying their attacks with mysterious energy. The Atomics, emboldened by this strange ally, launched a relentless assault. Rockets arced through the air, explosions lit up the arena, and in a final, thunderous moment, the Leviathans' base was overwhelmed. When the dust settled, the Atomics stood victorious. Whispers filled the stands-had the marble betrayed the Leviathans? Rumors quickly spread of an ancient lore: a rogue marble known as the "Wyrm's Whisper," said to change allegiances and bring ruin to those too arrogant to question its power. The Leviathans, once undefeated, had fallen victim to their own ambition, blinded by the allure of a mysterious prize. The Atomics, now champions, knew their victory was more than just their own skill-it was the marble’s doing, a strange alliance forged in the heat of battle. But even as they celebrated, there was an unspoken unease. Could they trust the Wyrm's Whisper, or was it simply waiting for the next moment to change sides again? The League of Marbles and Missiles was forever altered, the rivalry deepened not just by competition, but by the mystery of a marble that seemed to have a mind of its own. i was rooting for the leviathans but honestly i cant be upset. atomics really just had the better strategy and in the end. leviathans had a few good moments but overall the atomics dominated most of the game, GGs

Spoiler barrier The arena certainly enabled that ending. The Leviathan’s turf allows for potential swift retrieval of marbles that would otherwise change hands, at the risk of more easily dropping high power marbles. Since *both* teams face these attributes, Leviathans have to hope their own marbles get bumpered back, while the enemy’s powerful marbles get tossed their way. I’m a fan of the gamble, but sometimes when you gamble, you lose. Excited for Leviathans to make a comeback!
