Drill to the Core
Manage a team of miners, carriers, and guards through hazardous missions to extract minerals and power the drill platform. With indirect unit control, you have to plan your descent carefully and manage your resources wisely - every decision counts as you race against time to prevent climate collapse!
Deploy Your Defenses
Each night, aliens will attack the drill platform. Strategically fortify the drilling zone with turrets and upgrade your defenses to repel increasingly monstrous threats! Experiment with turret layouts to maximize their effectiveness, and incorporate new technologies you discover during the run.
Develop New Strategies
Every mission is unique with randomized monsters, restrictions, and technologies you will have at your disposal. Adapt swiftly and allocate your resources wisely. Successful missions unlock new mechanics and upgrades. Plan your approach carefully at the start of each mission and choose the right workers, buildings, and turrets for the job!

nice video :D Love how in the End, the Barkeep just stands there like "hey guys see you tommorow, nice ship you have there" and then just gets nuked into Oblivion

I'm addicted to streaming this game. First off, I love how you mine. Many ppl I see que up too many orders for drillers, end up splitting their workforce & get slaughtered bc they can't band together to squash the bug spawns. If I may offer some suggestions, these are things I'm sure you would figure out eventually: -You rarely need more than 3 carriers, most of the time the 4th ends up being idle. -Rocket Watchtowers & Laser Watchtowers are very strong but you need multiple of them to be effective, def try them out with your turrets. -The Mini Drill Drone lets you take out 3 blocks in a vertical line (once+ per day). It is great for removing the fire blocks, egg spawns, tougher blocks without risking drillers. Sorry if my unsolicited advice is annoying. Thank you for streaming this game!

Great game. One thing I noticed is that your workers are spending considerable amount of time traveling, some will go one end then go to the other end just traveling.

The brown eggs are what the red eye spawns come from, so if you kill all the eggs you wont get the red spawns. Also you can see the direction the eggs are in when the eye/bug travels through the rock before it pops into view. And yes as stated you should build the most expensive turret you can generally at the beginning if possible, so grab all the green tech upgrades on the first day you can....

hahaha I tried this game after watching your video :D - It seems promising! Lots of fun. Funny how I also lost half of my workforce due to forgetting pressing R at night time

Man. This game has it all for an early release! Both concept, mechanics, design and aesthetics is fleshed out. Even if it wasn't in early development. Which it is! Which makes it that much more impressive!!

Looking forward to another video.. The drones are great.. Also the shield array is good.. It goes on the wall.. It's best at the lowest possible point at each gun level you use it at.. It's just an absorption shield.. Groups the enemies up until It breaks.. It could pare well with mortars, etc...

DIfficulty 1 has a max depth of 900 meters. Took me 128 days. Just as I was about to give up while thinking this play test just went forever. Do not fret for there is a bottom to the well if you have like 8-9 hours... Lol

I wonder if that will change or if they will add a way to save progress because it is a bit too much to commit to regularly if people like ourselves really want the satisfaction of completion. Because the way it is... once is enough. I'll live with the achievement. Unless they add some kind of additional rewards...

One the 2nd level of depth you needed to mine the middle section out so everyone doesn't have to go around your initial minding path to the left and then over to the right. Just because there isn't a resource to mine doesn't mean there isn't a priority. You handicapped yourself so harder than you thought, heh

the first two wall towers are free. dont build them before you get at least one tower unlocked you actually want to use. you got unlucky on that run but for the next difficulty you want to have the expensive turrets unlocked before night 1 hits (either mortar or laser or railgun) and use that 2 free towers for them. that combat drone building plus the 2 guards can kill the first wave on their own if you hit that building before one of said three towers and night 1. if you dont get one of those 3 towers before night 2 hits, simply restart. you will just waste your time in an unwinnable run.
