I found two things out during my playthrough. One if you are stuck/out of bounds the game resets you to the last place you were in bounds and Two if you echo a bird and he fights another bird they both get very high in the sky and if you grab your bird you can get very high in the sky

@@complainer406 A lot of the key items for progression are enemies, so I guess you'd have to randomize whether they spawn, too Also, since the way you can solve the same problem in this game is pretty diverse, a randomizer might not be as limiting as it is in other Zelda games

The first heal from the bed comes quicker than the rest, so spam resting to the first ping, cancel, rest to heal faster

It's really interesting watching someone and comparing how they solved puzzles vs you. Like i never realized the spider could be utilized like how linkus used it and the way he builds is different than how i build around using the elevator platform. Also for the mole boss it was mega bs when he dove down during wing phase that he got stunned on the statues but when I did it the game just swallowed them up and despawned it so i had to wait for the tornado phase to end.

For the Mogryph fight you need to put the statues on the yellow sand. The brown sand eats items so that was probably why your statue disappeared.

For anyone having trouble with this: pay attention to the shadow, wait for it to fully stop moving, move 1 square to the side, and then spawn the statue behind you. It is really precise, but once you understand how it works it is super consistent

More than speedruns I'm super interested in seeing what the minimum echoes (unique types or uses) it takes to beat the game. There are so many different strategies it'll be awesome to see what people come up with

So this is a cool thing I found wille playing the game when you rest in a bed it takes such a long time to regane health [but if u rest regane hafe a heart and get out of the bed and back in it go's alot faster ] (This is just a faster way to regane health:p)

It’s not like it’s giving you an unfair advantage. Unless you’re using the bed to regain health in combat… but I just use smoothies in combat

Yeah i got a physical 1.0 copy and i noticed that it already had an update. Found out that the reason why was because on version 1.0.0 faron woods just wont load. Youll have trees but no ground under them!

40:00 The Wind cannon ist kind of broken. It is 2 tiles high, so you should not be able to jump on that, but for some reason you can jump on it from the backside (and only that side). My guess is the wind current pushes you a little so you can get on top of it. Since it costs 2 Triangles it's not that helpful to climb high, but if 2 tiles is all you need it can help you get through a section without having to spawn multiple objects.

I like how pretty much EVERYONE calls Lefte and Wright stupid for stepping into the rift when they just, y'know, impulsively and reflexively tried to save the KING. In a fight-or-flight situation, they both immediately chose fight without a second thought. So I'll be chilling in my corner giving them props for that loyalty instead 👍

I'm almost done with my playthrough already and through all my immense enjoyment of the game, and the noticing of all the classic Zelda references, I finally went "this feels like Zelda 64" and my partner watching my playthrough just goes "and boom goes the dynamite" like they were just waiting for me to realize and point out that this game makes me feel soft in the same way OoT makes me feel soft. Even the pause menu open and close noises are modernized uptempo remixes of the OoT pause menu noises.

It is sooo fun to watch different people play this and see a different solution each time. For instance, I've seen several people fight the first boss by spawning enemies to fight him, this is the first time I have seen you can actually just pull the core out with the synchronize ability. How did I not think of that as they literally show you can do that with the dekuranha right before the boss!

While the initial bottom objective is closer, the top objective is probably preferable; water is faster than spider for smaller ledges up to 4-5 tiles high, and doesn't need a wall for said 4-5 tiles. (also can go infinitely up and along a wall.)

I didnt see this happen during the video so want to let you know that if you push the right d-pad to select your echoes then push plus while the menu is open, you will pull up an alternate selection menu that is like the ocarina of time item menu. This is far superior to the scroll wheel. Also make sure you explore Hyrule, the game has several hidden mini dungeons you can complete with a fun surprise at the end of them. You may not want to do them for speed runs but for personal enjoyment they are quite nice. Hope you have a fun time in Hyrule.
