@@JtArticle15 my husband had an undetectable brain aneurysm rupture on my 40th bday. We were in our room, doing things, when he collapsed. I did CPR until the ems arrived but he was gone before he hit the floor. We were able to donate his organs. Corneas, heart, liver and kidneys. I'm struggling. We've been together since I was a freshman in highschool. We have 3 kids. They're doing exceptionally well, all things considered. I'm proud of them.

I'm a bird hunter, bow hunter, fisherman and a golfer. I love all of these hobbies. There's nothing to hunt in Oklahoma in the summer, therefore, I mainly golf. The rest of the year, golf usually takes a backseat.

You still need to be able to travel freely with guns. We used to travel from KY to Wyo to hunt elk. If we made that trip now and got pulled over in Illinois I kinda worry that we'd of got messed just for having tons of guns and ammo... and lots of beer and bourbon.

I am with Mat on this. It is up to the individual to attain training in order to be proficient with the laws of the state and their actual weapon. As for what Jared said, I think if people are worried about this, then maybe Firearm safety classes should possibly be part of high school programs just like driver’s education classes. The course could go over the state’s laws and regulations pertaining to the carry, defensive use, and overall safe handling of firearms. Just a thought …

Missouri's concealed carry is a pretty good example. You can carry concealed without, but it's a crime to carry in any properly marked "gun free" property. If you have your permit, you can pretty much carry anywhere (I think there are specific exceptions) and the most they can do is ask you to leave.

So a couple comments from the beginning of the episode. MT and I believe WY and a few other States have already tried the no NFA stamp for items made and kept in state. The Feds said no way and we will seize anything made. No one has pushed that limit yet. As to the weed apparently the Feds have the right to not enforce one set of laws but can do another. Doesn't make sense but have not seen a challenge yet for it. Also you don't want different cities or counties passing their own gun laws. It has to be consistent at least the state level. We had one city outlaw handgun in MT but the county was okay with it so it was legal in this area but not that area. Patchwork over a state and it becomes a PIA. Luckily the state the city can't do that. SD has a nice approach where only the state can set gun laws. Not cities, counties, or businesses. Anyways continue on...

Yeah there's zero chance a suppressor company is going to come to Texas and break federal law. To fight the case you would need a judgment that essentially declares the NFA unconstitutional and the chances of that are practically zero. I appreciate the sentiment tho and it will allow people to roll their own since most never have feds rolling up on their ranges. As for training requirements for concealed carry, it's just stupid. The training in any state is hardly training, the government has no authority to restrict who can and can not practice a right so long as their rights have not been rescinded by a court, and the single mom who has to work three jobs doesn't have a day to take off and $200 to spend on some dork in an NRA instructor polo who probably doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about.
