well in the current disgustingly bad gpu market a RX570 4g is about the best deal you will get so yeah makes sense that most people will be in the RX570 to GTX 1080 range

@@hmmm9183 yeah but why these companies,crypto fucked us we as clients deserve better cheap yet innovative gpus, were 6 years along with no performance uplift above this range of gpu and not even for a price in the $120 to $220 range, prices are falling now but that does not mean the industry has stagnated to a halt from 2016 sad asf times man. Im waiting now to buy a RTX/RX card used for a proper price.

@@EBMproductions1 im a bit off the loop with prices (busy with things), but gpus like 1660 (you might aswell include S and ti) are the one who changes the previous budgets like the 1050ti and 1060 (while 1060 wasnt really budget, but close enough). 3060 was supposed to be the new budged but as you said crypto ruined it. It will go down and you can buy it used for a steal. Tho, this is my opinion, for majority of people who can play at low settings you can live with weaker gpus. A lot of tech for gpus performance has been developed ( NIS and amds something, I forgot), and many more optimizations. While games are literally ignoring weaker cpus, older games used to do bunch of optimizations, to save ram and usage for max performance (keeping the code simple and short), while todays games literally focus on gpus, cpus exist too...

notice how R5 3600 is being used half as much as the i7-3770 and the frames are around the same which means that the gpu is not nearly good enough to be fully using the R5 3600 even though it seems like its pretty much twice as good as the other one

The RX570 is the limiting factor here, try a faster card, like a gtx 1080ti for example and see the 3600 pull away from the 3770.

GTX 1060 is the same as Rx 570 in a lot of games and in some cases Rx 570 is better

Thank you. You saved me from buying a new PC. I am about to build a new PC. I have 3770 non k and planning to replace it with Ryzen 3600. Based on your video there are only few fps gain . I though there will be a huge FPS increase, about 20FPS as seen on other KZbin channels.

The 3600 is much faster but you need a GPU that can do it. This video is using an RX 570 which is at it's max in the games here and neither CPU is being used fully.

@@Fina1Ragnarok You can see that the 3770 cant keep the GPU at 100% as stable as the R5 can do. This shows in the 1% lows! The R5 maxes the card out with ease. The 3770 is clearly struggling

I got a XEON E3 1230V2 to pair with my RX 580, it's pretty much a i7 3770 with a few mhz less, but a lot more cheaper.

Your GPU is bottlenecking the benchmarks! One could say i7 3770 is a similar CPU as Ryzen 5 3600 by seen this test, but it's not....it's a good CPU though, but it's not by any chance as powerfull as Ryzen 3600x. If you make same tests with a RTX GPU, you'll find out how Ryzen boosts up to a 30fps difference with i7 3770 on the those games they're even.

For rx 570, i7 3770 is enough and ofc r5 3600 is better as i7 3770 will bottleneck the rtx series but ryzen will not...

@@floki5182 believe me, I had a i7 3770 too, with a RTX 2070....and this CPU is capable of much much more, but unfortunately the rx 570 is not leting it to work with all it's potential. It's not me, it's the numbers you show, but I guess you're right...rx 570 is just enough, not outstanding, just enough.

so guys this whole test is about realism in my country people are using 2nd gen intel/amd up to 4th gen the rich fucks have i7 7700 and up and most people game on a RX570 up to GTX 1060 heck steam even says that so pairing it with a RX570 makes sense and more so in the current gpu climate plus the ram for the r5 3600 makes sense since 3000mhz ram is far cheaper then 3200 to 3600mhz

This is not a reasonable comparison for i7 3770 , because 3770 can boost upto 4.1GHZ in Z77 Motherboards and using triple channel 12 GB 1600mhz ram is very unreasonable and also you can push DDR3 1600mhz upto 2400MHZ

Intel is 3700 mhz, Ryzen is 4100 mhz. FPS difference is roughly 4-7. Have you tried to overclock the bus? I guess it is possible to increase the 3770 uo to 4 mhz. I guess RAM frequencies of both are quite different Ryzen's being about 3 ghz, nevertheless, 9 year-old Intel manages to keep up in modern games.

Yeah, and look at the memory frequency also DDR-3 1600 Mhz vs DDR 4 3000 Mhz, its almost a double which is heavily favours the AMD side here, an unlocked i7-3770k @4,1 Ghz with 2400 Mhz memory modules would be the dead end of that Ryzen 5 no doubt.

Bear in mind, the Ryzen 5 3600 is DDR 4-3000 Mhz and the i7- 3770 is DDR3-1600 Mhz only here which also defines the FSB of the mainboard too 1600 Mhz for Intel and 3000 Mhz for AMD that's why you see this difference only, if you would use a 3770k and pair with DDR3-2133 Mhz or even DDR3-2400 Mhz in a Z-77 mainboard, it would easily overkill the Ryzen 5 both in less CPU usage and more FPS !

3770k is a good cpu, the maximum graphics card for this cpu is gtx 1070 or similar, with the overclocked cpu preferably.

@@Edmundostudios well yes because when your gaming at 1440p games become gpu bound... for example in 1080p gaming ram manual OC w/ b-die and ryzen max OC will give the game a noticable fps gain.. but in 1440p there will be 0 gain at all from overclocking some times 0-2 fps but thats only in margin of error and no real world performance inc LOL. if you cpu is weaker as long as it can't bottleneck the gpu then its good to go.

Pairing the 3600 with an RX 570 is an issue. You get better frames and less CPU usage if paired with something like a 6600xt. The 3770 would be the bottleneck for a newer GPU.

Recently sure, back in the day not that much... I have a I7 2600K OC to 4.9ghz and I basically have just an air cooler and it maintains it around 70Cº (less in the winter off course) while gaming and this CPU was like 3.8ghz max turbo at stock so it has a 1.1ghz OC on it and running at high voltage for many years...

Тони, тест говно, поставили самую дешевую видеокарту и весь упор был в нее, из за этого и фпс +- одинаковый. Поставь в этот тест 2080 и увидишь реальные цифры. А так это еще одна попытка подобосрать отличный райзен 3600.
