im at 120 playing hours and completly maxed out, but i never found 1 of those farming rings :( is that normal ?

Because of the RNG, absolutely. I'd recommend just trying to kill the farmers as much as possible. I've found a ton of the petal rings.

I got the blue shaman staff ranged weapon as soon as I got to the forgotten ruins and it is a BEAST!

If Rune Song had a 100% chance to kill things with lower life than you, it'd still be a basically meaningless stat. Once you're at the point you have RS, you're killing non-bosses in 2-3 hits, no exceptions.

Yes, but still early access so creatures will likely get more difficult plus zero durability with no repair costs is nice.

Found myself carrying around a drill and generator to get through tough walls...is it slow?...yes...does it work?...yes as well

It does work, but so does the Ancient Pickaxe & Azeos' Thunderbeam when it procs in the mold dungeon lol.

Grubzooka is absolutely useful for expanding base- But couldn't argue with number 1 and 2! Those 2 items are solid, and it's not that hard to get (just need to find those huge caves in the stone biome, or the buildings in Azeos' Wilderness!)

I've explored better than 60% of my cave biome and still have yet to find a maze for the clear gem. I don't think people give enough credit to how difficult it is to get these items in an unlucky spawn.

the flintlock musket is fundamentally the exact opposite of what you want with an exp farm ranged exp is gained on a per-hit basis, the damage dealt and such are irrelevant the musket, being entirely focused on a high damage and pathetic attack rate, is one of the slowest things you could pick for exp farming

@@OriginalRyan Yeah now the best long range weapon in a long run, at least for me, would be the fireball staff. I got it pretty early and killed with it all the 3 first bosses and the special Slime King as well. No to mention its so easy to enhance it, by just wood. BTW where are now the mold dungeons mostly situated (behind the stone, behind the clay, or even behind the barrier, after the biome with the gardeners cavelings)? I have seen some videos from many people, and they had it like very close to the core, but i got through all biomes at the beginning, to the barrier, and didn't find it.

I've seen them everywhere in Azios' biome. I don't think I went too far without stimbling into one.

Am I missing something? I've just discovered Core Keeper this week and been watching a few tips videos.. And 4.6 HP / sec is pretty bad for 2 ring slots, when you have 1000+ HP with food buffs, no?

It is now. Newer items have better stats, but also HP was able to be as high as possible with mushrooms & amber larva, which are now nerfed to one-time uses. Overall, not bad if HP is lower.

Easiest way is to try & get Azeos' thunderbeam to proc on mobs near the walls. It'll eat right through them. Otherwise, bombs & ancient pickaxe or now the newest pickaxe work as far as I know.

The not quite fastest but by far cheapest way I've found (now that sunken sea update is out) is if you have a wood farm, 999 wooden planks is 999 ancient coins when sold to an NPC vendor. My wood farm produces more wood than I could ever need so I have 5 saws for both kinds of wood just sitting with 999 ready to go if I need more coins after buying boss summoning totems or stuff from the vending machines.

I think its very helpfull for beginners but caveling mothers ring is actually very rare only one per world not as you said in the chest the ring is only at a special area Edit: why arent you using the sickle with the armor its stronger than the rune song with the right rings..

You're right, the caveling mother's ring is dug up from the grave site. Also, I don't always use the Rune Song, I use the Sickle IF I setup a poison build. I change my gear depending on what I'm doing.

Where do you get the musket?

It drops in chests in the Forgotten Ruins, clay caves, & the larva biome. Also in the large wooden objects that can be destroyed. It also drops from Ghorm, the regular cavelings & the caveling hunters in Azeos' Wilderness. You can also purchase it from the caveling merchant after killing Ghorm I believe.
