Si je fais de la recherche personnelle pour trouver des preuves/statistiques, devrai-je citer la source? Si oui, comment? Est-ce qu'il y a risque de plagiat pour une source mal citée? Merci!

Thank you for your question. First, remember that you can't bring personal notes for the exam. If you did personal research on a topic to find additional information/evidence, make sure you remember where you took it from. Your evidence has to be verifiable. For example, you could say something like, "In a recent CBC article..." in order to reference something you have read on the CBC website. Remembering the exact source might be tricky in an exam without personal notes, so you should stay general. The easiest way is to use information from the provided documents (The Preparation Booklet) to support your arguments. If you can't remember a quote perfectly, paraphrase what was said. When you do so, you won't need quotation marks. Also, make sure you're not using word for word what was said before, since it would be considered "plagiat". Always reformulate or rephrase information in order to make it your own. I hope this helps you!
