This band had been through A LOT. Not long after their debut they lost one of the member, the keyboardist. In 2020 they went on hiatus due to 2 members (2 guitarists) was diagnosed with mental health issue. The other 3 had to work even harder to back up the 2 members, so they made a sub-unit called "Even of Day" to continue the band activities. And in January 2022 the lead guitarist left the group. Many people predicted that they would disband soon since they technically on a hiatus as band, lost another member, militery enlistment, and contract expiration. But the song "You Were Beautiful", which was released in 2017, suddenly made a comeback around 2022-2023 and quickly became nation's heartbreaking song. Everyone in the country, even the fellow idols, would cover or recommend this song it became the talk of the town to this day. Many people FINALLY recognized Day6's existence and their latest comeback with new formation was like most anticipated comeback after their militery service. And This Killing Voice, they had invited other band groups before tho, but this is the first time Dingo let a band bring and play their own instruments to the set. So happy that you guys also finally discovered this talented self-produced band. Thank you for the reaction 😊

they are actually probably not as young as you think!! both sungjin (guitarist on the left) and young k (bassist) are born in '93 wonpil on keyboard and synthesizer was born in '94 and dowoon on drums is indeed the maknae born in '95, making them 31, 30, 30 and 28! hopefully you can react to more day6 if you liked this! they are amazing and are quite popular among idols as well, even in their solo work

yep, the keyboardist also play the synthesizer on top of singing. He also need to set up the program on his laptop each time they change songs. So yeah, he had a LOT going on 😅 and somehow still manage to maintains his vocals

I LOVE Day6! They're my ult group! They're a kband known for having a perfect discography! A bit of info about them, they're the first band under JYP and write and compose all of their own music! (they originally had 6 members, one left during their first year of activity so for almost all of Day6's content and music you will see 5 members! However in 2021, one of the members- Jae was announced to have officially left the group. The other members were completing their military service as well, so the group has just been on hiatus for a few years. But in 2024 they're finally back and active as a 4 member unit!)

Their bassist - Young K is the heart of the group, cos he wrote almost all their songs. He also a solo artist and radio DJ. A lot of popular K-pop Idols/artists are Young K fans! I`d advise you to check his cover-project - "YOUNG ONE", there`s a lot of English songs (btw he is fluent in it). My fav: "Love Me Less" (Max, Quinn Xcii cover), "What Am I" (Why Don't We cover), "Last Call" (Hudson Thames cover), "Like A Star" (Corinne Bailey Rae cover), "What A Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong cover)

it's funny you said Sungjin (guitarist; 3rd from L) looked like a mix of Yoongi and Jungkook bc there was a period of time when Sungjin and Jungkook looked so alike people would jokingly say they are brothers. and even like 7 years later, some people still use Sungjin as photos of JK's brother online 🤣

OMG DAY6 REACT YEEEES!!! Answering your questions, the leader is Sungjin, he is the guitarist and the oldest member too. They are not younger as you think, most of them are in their late 20s and three of the members are already in their 30s. The drummer is Dowoon, the youngest, he is the maknae of the band (the most spoiled by other members, because he is so cute😅). Wonpil is the member you liked more, he is the pianist and is "part" of the maknae line too, i think this is the reason why you thought he is so young😂. The radio guy you liked too, is Youngk, he is the bassist, he is so good in English because he lived in Canada for a while. I would love to see you react more to them, they're so amazing and funny too!! We usually call them the goofy uncles for this reason🤭

Sidenote: If I remember frmo watching How DO You Play variety show.. Young K said that he used to live in the U.S for a bit.. He was raised in Ilsan, South Korea and moved to Toronto, Canada, to attend middle and high school at York Mills Collegiate Institute. Since sixth grade, he has not lived with his parents. (wikipedia)... Young K is the bassist on the right that you liked
