The Crabfeeder was hard to kll bc he was hiding in caves. Dragons can't go in those caves, and since his soldiers know the caves it would be a suicide mission to rush in. They needed the Crabfeeder's soldiers to exit so that they could attempt to get to him with minimal loss.

Otto made that crazy recommendation about Aegon marrying Rhae because Aegon is his grandson. Either Aegon or whatever kids aegon and Rhae had together would end up on the iron throne

The episode ends with three different kills, all says about the killers personality.Killing wild Boar - Rhenerya would never back down from violence , if her life gets threatened. (Kililling - Black deer)Whereas Viserys doesn’t want violence but forced by his surrounding people to do so..And Daemon Targaryen had to embrace violence & put his life in the line to prove Himself (killing crabfeeder) Also by saving the life of White Hart deer Rhenerya proves that she doesn’t need to kill someone just to prove that she is worthy of the Throne...

There are three main kills in this episode. the king the princess and the prince. the king needs people to hold the stag for him for him to do the kill and even then he needs a second chance because that’s not who he is he’s not a person to kill he is a more peaceful person. the princess will kill only when she has to. She kills the boat out of self defense butwhen you see the stag come to her in the end she tells Cole not to kill it because there’s no need. Daemon shows strength by killing he put himself in harms way and took out many of the barbarians Pirates and the crab feeder.

We didn’t need to see Daemon fight & kill the crab feeder in my opinion. We can tell from the episodes that the crab feeder isn’t a fighter, and all him and his people do is hide in caves, so Daemon first battle fight shouldn’t be with a non fighter.

Agreed. The whole perspective of Daemon in this episode is from other people's or even "history's" perspective. From the soldiers' POV, Daemon is a brave madman who charged in and emerged dragging the enemy's torso. And that's the story/image that's going in the history books under his name. Amazing filmmaking.

I think the real symbols here are according to the scenes of each characters covered in blood : Viserys is forced to use violence, make decisions Rhaenyra choose violence to defend herself and her position (and the white hart is the proof she’s worthy of this position as much as a male) And Daemon is will always choose violence to prove himself and make a stand
