Great video Tom - but could you slow down just a bit? Sometimes you're clicking on stuff while I'm still writing down previous steps!!! Keep up the great work - I REALLY appreciate your time and effort you give in teaching us quick and effective methods to do our everyday chores.

Hey Don, Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to consume less mountain dew prior to recording (and pace it out a bit). Thanks again!

Great video Tom. Do you know if there is a way when you print separations in CorelDraw, that you can adjust the output to print all six colors at 100%? I have an Epson 1400 and run a continuous ink system with black in all six cartridges. Sometimes if my print heads aren't perfectly clean using all 6 heads in black still gives a really good black film. Thank you very much. Scott

I would head over and sign up for the group "screen printing q&a" on facebook - they have a great community and someone will know this one that has that system for sure!

Very good demo my friend. One comment and in no way do I mean any disrespect. Slow Down... Your breathing is running away on you. I have done many demonstrations and there is nothing wrong with short "no sound" pauses. You seemed to be stressed to be constantly speaking. You seem to really know your stuff and all the Corel Short Cuts, as I have used their software for many years. And thank you for this posting as it was very helpful.

Thanks Ken - I have heard this - actually I am this much a spaz on a regular basis... lol - so don't worry for me. But I will consider it in the future - spaz! pause spaz!

How can I make half tones without converting it to a bitmap?
@screenprintartist3 жыл бұрын
the only practical way to do that is with a RIP (raster image processor) software - such as Accu-rip for example - this will convert any grayscale in a separation spot color or cmyk separation to a pre-defined halftone screen - then you don't have to do this process. Some older laser printers (we had an hp laser 5000 or something) that had a version of postscript in it that would work as a RIP and convert separations also - but essentially this is a function outside of CorelDRAW - I am showing here how to "cheat" and do it inside the software so you don't need a RIP - but for volume of work or daily separations you should get a RIP - it's worth it

My bad! I didn't call out clearly the duplicate key I used there (ctrl-d) - you can also drag and then right click the mouse to duplicate
