I knew Evelyn very well for 30-or so years (I looked after her garden in London) and she was the most wonderful and generous friend and mentor. I still miss her, but we are blessed to have her music (and Sir John’s obviously!) to remember her by.

Hello! I heard Lady Rothwell play in 1955 and Barbirolli conducting.I recordet this concert with English Chamber Orchestra in 1980. It is on You Tube…Regards. B H
