Very beautiful! I love Corelli, but I haven't heard it in a long time! Jonathan's performance is incredible and Tom's video is wonderful with so many details of this beautiful Church, its wonderful organ and nativity scene and, most importantly, our incredible organist! Thank you both for this beautiful gift!

I LOVE this Christmas Concerto, and have since I first heard it as a teenager! What a thrill to hear an organ transcription of it by Jonathan Scott! A sublime and superb rendition of a sublime and magnificent piece of music! Thank you for this, and to Tom for the beautiful video tour of Santa Maria la Antigua, and for the views of Jonathan as he plays. This is a great Christmas treat! 🎵🎄😄

Thanks for the review, I must say I’m envious that you could be present. The warm acoustic in that church comes across in Tom’s recording but in person it must have been amazing.

I love baroque music but I'm usually a severe critic of transcriptions. But the only criticism I can level at this performance is that it didn't go on an hour or so longer--because its fantastic!

That is lovely. I enjoy your playing very much. Tom does an excellent job with the audio/video. His work is most impressive. Question: what are the three toggle looking pedals to the left of what I presume is the Crescendo or Swell pedal?
@matejpodstensek11 ай бұрын
Those are the couplers (there are five all together: three pedal and two manual couplers).

Never got what was "Christmas" about this piece. Great piece of baroque music though! And fantastic arrangement! Did this organ use a facade from an old organ a la Aukland Town Hall? While I could see that stylistic choice the facade looks to be a lot older than 2013.
