Oh my goodness to have this on here. I was at this concert. This was in the encore. To be 21 seeing Pavarotti live was one thing but to see the 3 Tenors was completely out of this world. Thanks for this memory. I miss Pavarotti. And now I miss home.

You posted this years ago but I have to tell you this. I play this around 5am while making a cuppa, I start gliding around the kitchen, I start smiling like a Cheshire Cat & my day is absolutely wonderful after that. My husband passed, I’m alone & not coping well at all. But this vid is like a megga cheer me up drug. Can’t get enough of it. I mean, who couldn’t enjoy Pavarotti’s infectious smile & the pure enjoyment shown by Placido Domingo & Jose Carreras. Apologies if I’ve misspelled them. Then there’s the audience. Wow. & just FYI Miss Rosemary, I’m having this played full volume in my friend’s historic church with the megga high ceilings & wonderful acoustics at my funeral. I adore them. This version of the song is million and one times better than any other. I am smiling like an idiot at the screen, moving, dancing. Then I look at the audience and they are doing exactly the same. Plus Carreras´s face during Domingo´s mistake is priceless.

Technically,their voices are magnificent but Sinatra's phraseology completes this song. Perhaps it is the fact that the words are in English.
