this was the most surprising match of the night. Dzeranov has levelled up completely. He was at his biggest and strongest. To defeat Revaz like this is no joke. Even vitaly struggled round 1 and 2 against Revaz. I think Dzeranov is a dark horse. He is considered top 10 but I would not be surprised if he is currently top 5. He needs matches against the top guys now. Like Tsvetkov, Gennadi or Jerry. That hook is incredible

Since he started armwrestling till 2020 he was using only toproll; and hook if someone was hooking him (like Matyushenko). After he had a break for 1.5 years, and came in 2022 in EvW event. So from 2022 he was using hook, because his toproll technique was lacking against only toprollers, so he used hook in order to make match an endurance battle. So considering his first two right arm matches as comeback matches (Kalina and Arif Ertem), he gained his strength back and as of now he is even much stronger. So, as you saw in this match, Dzeranov easily toprolled Revaz, who is really tall. You think he cannot toproll 187cm Ermes? He can, but it will be same as Vitaly vs Ermes match, he will lose his own wrist against Ermes, so thats why Ermes is favourite. If Dzeranov will have a match before Ermes, then when he comes with Ermes, it will be more to Dzeranov side
