I wish they could have also shown Corey Feldman reflecting on the scene where his character, Teddy, and Vern are wrestling in the swamp before realizing they were covered with leeches. Chris tells Teddy "Act your age" and Teddy responds with, "I am acting my age. I'm in the prime of my youth, and I'm only young once".

A poem about River from the book: Midnight Writings by a Distant Mind Lost in Time. "FOREVER RIVER" A peaceful river flows from the start, twenty three days and twenty three nights apart. The clear water calm turning into rushing rapids, tearing you up before you get out. But like a Phoenix from the ashes he will rise, a beautiful spirit, haunting striking eyes. A room full of vipers, a venom so strong, taken away in the hollow morning songs. This river treasure like a shooting star, lights up the night sky, and for a moment shines brighter than all the other stars. Seemingly gone forever, but never forgotten. "RIP River Phoenix."

yall are complaining about the girls (totally justified i 100% agree) but im just wondering about why he said that it wasn't for families and that it was a mature movie - and while it is a slightly mature movie i dont think that in this case it means children/tweens shouldn't be able to watch it. i first saw this movie when i was 12 (granted ive always been a lot more mature than other people my age) and i think that it was the perfect time for me to see the movie. i loved it, and it really touched me and who i was and how i felt about the world. i think that it is the perfect movie for someone maybe 11/12 to see.

I think I finally figured out Corey Feldman’s issue. And it’s obvious as hell. He was a child star. The focus of all attention in his world. As an adult, he still crave’s, wants, NEEDS that from people. People telling him how great he is. But he’s not anymore really, but he still wants people telling him that. So he surrounds himself with everything in his world still being focused souly on him. Be humble and get over urself at some point Corey. If u think u are, u are beyond delusional at this point. I don’t think u can come back from a lifetime of this.

He didn't steal it from Full Metal Jacket, which came out after Stand By Me, he stole it from the Clint Eastwood movie Heartbreak Ridge. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnKtYZ2rabCUl5o

Hey Corey -- #1 I'm quite sure if you actually "ad libbed" that line like you claim, Stephen King may have had something to say about it. After all, it was based on HIS book. And #2 A Teddy Duchamp sequel -- refer to #1. What a poser!

lucy girl he didn't ad lib that line, you're right! It's in the book, in fact, the whole movie is almost verbatim from Stephen King's short story. 🙄🙄🙄

Both of you are idiots. Ad libbed the line in the MOVIE. that means it wasn’t in the SCRIPT for the MOVIE. It has absolutely nothing to do with the book. Now what you could have called him out on is him saying where he stole it from. Not the fact that it was ad libbed or not. and I read the original script and he’s right, that’s not a line.
