Also, If a man had sex with a woman who was his wife and also with her mother they were to be burnt with fire (all of them). If a woman lost her virginity before marriage: Death penalty! (Unless the man who took her virginity married her right away, but she couldn't just go and marry another man). In the Old Testament scriptures, if a man committed an act of having sex with another man's wife or having sex with another man, they both were guilty of great sin and received the death penalty. However, if a man simply had two wives this was not considered a sin but he was to treat the children fairly of all (both) of his wives. Now, is homosexuality and sleeping with another man's wife still sin today? Yes and the Bible says so (Rom chp 1, 1st Cor chp 6). But has GOD suddenly made it a sin for a man to have more than one wife? No, and the Bible doesn't say so (Matt 25:1-4). Though it does say that a woman can only have one husband (Rom 7:5). Don't allow cultural beliefs and human traditions to confuse nor deceive you. Praise CHRIST JESUS! Stick to the WORD of GOD and you shall do well. AMEN.
