Corey Lennox - Aurora (Official Audio)

This is a really difficult song. It's all about how hard it is when someone you love is suffering, and feeling powerless to help them.
I won't get into specifics, but there was a big event in my own life that inspired these lyrics.
I remember wanting to be able to take away this person's pain and help them as much as I possibly could, but the situation itself was so horrific that there wasn't much I could do aside from just continually being there for them.
Fortunately, "Aurora" did eventually make peace with the situation and is doing much better. But when you're in the middle of the storm things can look incredibly bleak.
So I wanted to write this song to help anyone else who's going through one of those soul-crushing seasons, begging them to hold on and just take things one small step at a time.
It gets better.
