that's me.I understand that it may seem dangerous to you from the video but it wasn't dangerous at all. They are iron flares that did not fly sparks down. The flares, beyond the superb lighting and atmosphere they create, also opened up space for the crazy people who wanted to join the pit. We want to have a good time and unforgettable moments ,without getting hurt, offering a spectacle to us who were there but also to those watching from KZbin And let's not forget, this is the crazy greek crowd !

@@giannis8998it looks (sic) and so awesome that it was not only safe for the crowd but also an excellent way to make the pit safer too! I can imagine it’ll have been pretty dark out there and too easy to miss someone who’s down or injured. Love it! I’m assuming security were fine with them being brought in? Any recommendations to find more info about these? Are they like the coloured smoke flares?

@@SpicyGhoulette To be honest security prohibits such products at the festival for security reasons (?) as well as other goods such as food, water bottles, glass bottles, alcohol and others but it is common for this product to pass through usually hidden in purses or inside clothing. So you just have to be lucky to get some respectable security who won't come and take the torch from your hands and take it away (like they do at some concerts for example slipknot in 2022 at release athens festival). So we conclude that it is a small risk to spend flares in a concert. You can also find the flares in marine supply stores or in fireworks stores. I hope I helped you 😁
