I’ve been a Slipknot fan since Iowa when I was 12. And I bought the Stone Sour album the day it came out just because it was CMFT and Jim Root. I’ve listened to CMFTs solo stuff since his Christmas song came out. There have been Slipknot songs and albums I didn’t particularly care for. Same goes for Stone Sour. And his solo stuff. But I have followed Corey Taylor through the years and his sheer persistence and dedication to making music of all types is what keeps me coming back. Personally, I think this song is kick ass. And CMFT Must Be Stopped isn’t my favorite but I still like the change and the collaboration. I’m a few years younger than Corey Taylor but as someone who has kids, battled addiction, matured and aged just like he did, I can understand his tendency to play less in your face stuff as the standard. But I also love that the old hatred and anger makes its way out now and again too. I’ll be a CMFT, Slipknot, and Stone Sour fan til I die. Doesn’t mean I like it all. But I can appreciate it all

This is proper catchy. Subliminal verses was a huge album for me in my pre-teens, Slipknot a big part of that era for me. Great song this! I'm not a one genre bias guy never have been, been a drummer and guitarist for going on 20 years mainly hard Rock and classic metal stuff but it's my advice to any future musicians out there to expand your knowledge and taste of music as much as possible, enjoy it all, it's endless!

I remember in the 10th grade my dad asked me if I had ever heard of this band called "Green Day"...a band I had listened to in the 6th and 7th grade and then came out with a ballad that ended up being played at every event you could possibly imagine to the point where parents were now listening to them. We are now at a time in history where parents will ask their kids if they have ever heard of this "Corey Taylor" guy. The same guy who used to literally bleed for his craft on-stage. The guy who orchestrated some of the most insane mosh pits I ever attended and who commanded the microphone with such ferocity, it actually scared people. It certainly is 2020 isn't it?
