I love that Corey is such a genuine Human Being. Behind the mask, he's just as vulnerable and sensitive as I am and that's very empowering as a fan of his music.Let's break the stigma of talking about mental health together people! and never be afraid to ask for help!

Your music has helped me overcome the darkest times of my life since I was 12 years old currently 35. Have served in Iraq and am currently be being treated for mental health. If the VA could prescribe music for as a source of treatment so many would benefit. The shit never fully goes away during my bad days which there are many your music takes me somewhere where nothing else fuckin matters. Your fucking amazing!

Thank you Corey. Much appreciated. Its crazy to see how far you have come. Back in the early 90s/2000s slipknot were seen as a devil band and nobody wanted to talk to you guys probably cause u scared the crap out of them lol now you have been on tons of talk shows and all kinds of things. Lol went from hated to loved by the whole world. Thats a message in itself. Respect

i relate so much to this story i've been through some crazy shit but slipknot has been there for me throughout singing and dancing along gives me that opportunity to get some of it out of my head like you can shout the pain out of your body like an exorcism if that makes any sense it and i swear i wouldn't be alive without slipknot!!!

extremely inspiring, i absolutely adore this man. if it weren't for him and his music i don't know where i'd be right now. and musically a lot of bands have gotten me through the toughest parts of my life, but it can't be said about many musicians. only corey really is that musician for me. he always inspires me to keep on going and just be better overall. i honestly don't think i'd be the person i am today had it not been for corey.

Well, at 40 with the Infantryman behind me. This makes me love the band and Corey even more. Darn near everything Corey said is truth. No matter the P.T.S.D someone has, whether it be from war or a bad family life, we can choose help. I needed this. I need help and all I ever do is say "I can do it myself". No I can't.

My grandmother has always been my rock as well. Same situation, too me in at twelve and didn't control me, let me get it out but was there with unconditional love the rare times then I was actually willing to admit I needed it. I'm 38 now and I thank God everyday she's still here with me. She stuck with me through out of control self destructive behavior, heroin addiction, you name it! Not to much scares me anymore, and the downside of seeing hell and being able to return is its hard to find a lot that excites you also. The one and only thing that scares the hell out of me and what will happen to me is the day that woman leaves this earth! She's a Saint, the only one that would NOT give up on me when I was at my darkest, and I've been of heroin for over a decade now and the biggest reward for me wasn't even getting sober it was giving my guardian angel the ability to tell all the nay sayers to pack it in their ass! A lot of men may not like admiting this but the two strongest people I've met in my 38 years on this planet were both females! It's so unfortunate we are now losing that generation, I truly think we will truly lose ourselves when they are all gone!!!

Watching this just made me cry!! For so many reasons, lived identical lives nearly.. I'm sure therw are some in Waterloo that wanted to throw me into a dumpster.. I just heard stories about my grandfather that make me sick toy stomach. And my grandmother also was the only love I ever felt, though she had no idea what to say apparently, until the end, then she told me some truths that no one had ever mentioned to me! Fuck dude I'm 52 now and just hera some of this stuff ... Like at 50 .. after my grand mother mentioned some things to me she died in a nursing home... Not sure who's cures I'm under Wagner, Byers, or Henry.. something's a rye .. Need a friend, and my daughter (s) and my life for once in my Life. You and I know some of the same people, that tooled me around as well!! BB

A lot might be going wrong in the world but seeing the world slowly change for the better in terms of mental healthcare and recognize it’s as essential as physical is one of those things that keeps me going 🖤 for real tho the landscape has changed so much in the past decade itself, for people like Corey Taylor normalizing it is such an awesome thing! Man I wish that someday it’s rare to succumb to mental illness 🖤 Rip to all those brave souls that had to do deal with it on their own 🖤

Many time when the grandmothers and grandfathers help the grandchildren it is their way of repaying their children for the mistakes they made raising them Because many times those relationships are strained so they can’t bring themselves to do directly to their own child so they do it through the grandchildren This is just something I came up with.
