Idk, I mostly dont like his singing past Iowa. When you take away that dark edginess of those early albums his vocals suddenly feel so cheesy. Sure each subsequent album has a good song or two (with the positive exception of WANYK which is a surprisingly amazing post-Iowa album), but overall its just not there.

x4 I'd like to add that I got some "All Out Life" and some "Come What(ever) May" vibes in this whole song. This is some seriously good song. It needs a Megadeth-long solo, that will make the song last twice as long. The notes, the mix, everything is so well put together. I love it.

I love this song. I had a major stroke on December 31st 2022. My wife was working 6 hours away. I in total laid waiting for help for 20 hours. Traumatic. Anyways I know trauma. While I recovered my wife brought my ear buds and I listened to music lol stimulating music. Working both sides of my brain and I can type and say my feelings. It's a long road but I know I'll be back. Btw I'm a drummer but not as good as Roy. Thanks for your music

25 years ago i discovered Slipknot and that amazing voice you have. Never stopped listening to any of your projects, acoustic, solo, Stone Sour, and Slipknot. I wish next Slipknot album will be as hard as the first one i'm still listening every day. And most of all i wish you will still feed us with your talent. You, Jim, Mick, Jay, our beloved Paul and Joey changed metal for ever. Music gods, i love you so much.

@@tiffanyfolsom5402 I’m currently ongoing therapy myself due to living with epilepsy therefore the depression and other mental illnesses come with it. Iv had suicide attempts and i have looked back upon the bad days and it just makes me worse. But i will promise you this, things do get better.. in my therapy I’ve been told to stop dwelling and start accepting and start appreciating. Whats happened has happened so in order to help yourself you need to look at everything else that you have and look forward to things that are coming. Im not even going to pretend that its easy just to up and forget what you’ve been through because i am currently still battling with my own personal demons, (i know different scenarios and circumstances to yourself but i think you know wat i mean) but every day is a new beginning, take baby steps, I promise it does help. That and obviously music is great therapy to relieve all the tension, the exact reason why I love this genre. It speaks more than words can ever express. Regardless, focus on you and truly mean it when i say i wish you all the best. You’ve clearly got strength. I hope that this will somewhat help you. We are one in this music family, united… Stay strong.

I've been a huge fan of Corey since 97. The only vocalist in my life that means the world to me. Corey is the best ever to spit into a mic. His range and approach to his home on stage with the mic is epic.
@misanthrope5380 Жыл бұрын
Not shitting on your taste, but what range? He's a very generic rock singer and uses the same vocal patterns on every song. Mike Patton and Devin Townsend for example... That's range.
@lonnienorton. Жыл бұрын
@@misanthrope5380 Actually Miles Kennedy is range as well. Nobody can argue the fact that Corey has been incredibly successful for his vocals. Despite some may think he doesn't have much of a range, but it's different when seeing him on stage in person. The dude can scream and sing better than most and has every part of his range dialed for what genre's he does.
