I did the same with my mum recently. She can’t stand heavy metal and I love it especially slipknot so when I play it in front of her she’s not best pleased. She thinks it’s all screaming and shouting so I played her this the other day and when I told her half way through the song it was Corey Taylor who’s the singer from slipknot she couldn’t believe it and said what an amazing voice he’s got then I told her slipknot isn’t just aggressive he does sing amazingly well as this cover shows perfectly

Love when people find Corey Taylor. Listen to Stone Sour and Slipknot is much harder, as people have said, but they also have "Snuff" and "Vermillion" that are "softer" and really show his voice. As much as I'm a fan of more traditional Slipknot, Snuff is absolutely fantastic. He also did a collaboration with Dave Grohl for a documentary and has a song "From Can to Can't" that is really good and his vocals are fantastic.

Love the fact that someone who can sing so nice and play guitar and also be able to sound so freaking awesome with slipknot my absolute favorite heavy metal band korn being my second choice I grew up listening to both everyday and Metallica, and Pantera and 311, guns and roses, and others but these were my top choices and I taught my self how to play guitar because I loved them sooo much!!!

Have always loved the original, but HIM did a marvellous rendition of Chris Isaak’s song, and this is absolutely hauntingly gorgeous, adore his voice… another version that is pretty awesome for a completely different reason is Grace Carter, but let’s not forget Jack Black, he did a version of this and it was fab! End result - it’s a mega tune and artists want to do it proud and thus far, they have.
