Okay, now that I have the basic connections established, I'm now going to rewatch all these Luna tutorials. This will be more meaningful this time around. Thanks, Corey!!

lol. most kids have no idea what you are talking about when you say "tape machine". you are truly an "old soul" in a young mans body.

Great Video Corey. Really well explained . I could explore LUNA all day , it looks like a lot of fun as well as a great piece of Tech. Great stuff.

How do I play along to a keyboard track that I created. I created a track for guitar, but once I play back or loop the keyboard track, I can’t here my guitar track, as I’m playing. Ir doesn’t let me play a long with it. Is there something that has to be enabled so I can here the keyboard track and me playing guitar at the same time??

I've been using Luna exclusively for a couple months now and really like it. I'm really looking forward to this series. Can you cover punch in/out ? I can't seem to figure it out. Some sort of mental block. :-)

Unfortunately I didn’t do that but...go to where the workflow tools are and you should find where you can set the punch In and out points

For those of you that have a PC, Cakewalk by Bandlab is free and does not have the limitations or issue's you get when dealing with the apple ecosystem.

Can I quantize a guitar track automatically in Luna? Or can I export to Logic Pro and quantize automatically? I'ver heard it's possible in Cubase, which I don't have.

Mmm...don't think so. Might want to consult the UA Facebook group

Hey Cory, I’ve searched online but can seem to figure out why my ox also sounds really quite and quite thin. I’m going from various heads into the ox, into an Apollo twin x 2. Any advice would be awesome!

Are you using guitar cables out of the OX or TRS?
@mr_coombes4 жыл бұрын
@@coreycongilio that’s for getting back. I’m using the optical into the Apollo.

Appreciate you doing this series Corey! Quick question: what kind of mac do you like/recommend? I have an old 2011 Macbook Pro w/ SSD and 16GB RAM that doesn't support Luna. Love my UA interface and plugins, just gotta upgrade at some point so I can run Luna. Cheers

I always say, the best one you can afford! That being said, you could probably get away with a badass Mac mini. I have a i9 imac but I do a lot of video obviously. Google Luna requirements and there should be a link

you absolutely do not need a solid state drive for your sessions. However, you do need a solid state drive for your samples.
