you completely missed my question... anyway, funny thing (or sad i guess in your book) is that what we all like is subject to preference and not most able to keep a straight, clean tone the longest, with your line of thought in mind I suggest you tune in and listen to sophie milmans "i cant make you love me" dont think im mocking, its a great track and strikes technically very high. or you sit back enjoy the sweet guitar solo and realize an entire song doesnt have to be 100% to be worth listening to.

sounds good man! im not gonna offer you a more intriguing explanation of the lack of grammar than this: the barrier of a generation born and grown up with computers, clearly has lowered the standards for the general audience. to be honest there was no intention of mine to compare milman with the cover, it was a vague attempt to push you off the cactus of negative pain into oasis of "lets not be a troll". the returning factor i find interesting though is how you measure the quality of covers. by originality in terms of distinction compared to the original piece. and here is where you miss your own point. this cover is pretty far from the original yet your argument is it hits to close too mayer? anyway, you seem pretty talented in language, my advice, at least put in the effort of masquerading your opinion if its as flameable as the one which got my engine fired up. good talking with you :)
