I've never been able to go to VidCon or Playlist Live, nor will I be able to attend Buffer this year, but I'm going to make it my goal to hit up Buffer before any of the other KZbin conferences. This seems like such an incredible festival and interests me even more than VidCon, which is saying something because VidCon seems awesome as well. Can't wait to hear about how everything turns out! Thanks for making such great stuff for us to enjoy, ApprenticeA crew.

Since the shows are in theatres, there are only a specific amount of seats available. Therefore you will be buying specific tickets to specific shows.

$15 is the rice for individual tickets. There will be discounts for group ticket purchases. The show structure will evolve over the next week, which is why we can't set in stone the format. There will also be proper meet and greets after the show. The ticket price also includes all the after parties and concerts (of course!) The shows will be about 90 minutes long, in fancy, sit-down, dress up, theatres. Similar to watching a movie or going to see a live show a theatre.

There will be conversations between the host and the KZbinr, possible performances depending on the KZbinr, there will be a Q&A and/or audience discussion with the host and the KZbinr, the KZbinr will be able to craft their own show with the host to make each show a totally unique specialized experience, and the KZbinr has a chance to premiere content during the show. This format will evolve more over the next week as things start to finalize.

Or a quiz on the Buffer Festival website? Just an idea.

Wow...this is not what I had anticipated it would be. Very exciting! Couple of questions: is this going to be new original content or more like a 90 minute "best of" compilation? If it is original content will it eventually be available for viewing by those who can't come to the actual festival?

I think the Buffer Festival would be a great idea for people looking for more KZbinrs to subscribe to, since it is hard sometimes if you don't search for the right thing, you may be missing someone/something you would love. I think it would be a great idea to have "If you like this (personality/youtube channel/tv show/genre etc)" and/or "If you are interested in these topics (science/cheese/apple sauce etc)", you might be interested in seeing this Buffer Video session.

Adding Buffer Festival to my bucket list. I can't go this year, but maybe next year, or the one after that. Or at least by the 4th annual...I went to the 4th VidCon and I think I'll be at the 4th Playlist Live (is 2014 the 3rd or 4th Playlist?). It is expensive to travel and I have college to go to. Possibly I'll see you at the 4th Buffer. Fingers crossed.

Do you buy tickets on the 26th for specific shows? Corey said that you wake up and decide what you want to do, or show you want to go to? Do you buy tickets for the number of shows you want to see (hence, you buy a "5 show ticket" which gets you into any 5 shows and you decide that day)? Or do you buy a ticket for the Wheezy Waiter show and the CTFxC show, etc?

My 2 cents: That is exactly the type of thing you need to explain (price includes after parties and concerts, etc...) It would be great if you and Sam did a video that talked about what the attendee's experience will be like at the festival. The video that says, for $15 *YOU* will be able to meet XYZ, you will be able to attend after parties and concerts, you will get to see uniquely crafted interactive shows, Q&A, pictures, meet and greets... etc.

I agree the price seems high ($15) but like I mentioned before, you didn't describe very well what the shows will be like... The people will be there, (like whezzywaiter) is there also a meet and great? Q&A? refreshments? what does that $15 get me? The show is hosted, does that mean they interview the headliner as well? Please keep in mind, many people will me traveling to this festival, so they will be spending a lot more than $15 on hotels and travel.

I'm sorry, I have a question... (I liked TimmyD's video because it explained it a lot better) I'm sure when the schedule comes out that will help a lot too... BUT you only touched on the format of the show slightly... Say, for example, I buy tickets to see the WhezzyWaiter Show... and he is there... is he just decoration? Someone else is hosting... Does he talk between clips, or just Q&A after, does he design his show? Will the schedule summarize the content/topic being presented?

I totally think that the pricing should be elaborated on because 15$ for a show sounds like a rip-off. I know you are comparing it to films, but to the average person who doesn't have a huge budget, this limits them perhaps to a show or two. Personally, as it stands right now, this is standing as an incentive for me not to go.
