Corgi must have done very well selling toys that were the products of movies and TV shows as I had one of these, both James Bond cars, Chtty Chitty Bang Bang, the Monkey mobile, Bat mobile and a couple of cars from Captain Scarlet. Happy days and thanks for bringing those days back.

I had the car in period with the ring. I seem to remember that it was iridescent and was easily lost. I remember that my Napoleon Solo figure lost half of his arm. 'The Man from UNCLE' series was hugely popular and there were a tremendous number of spin-off toy products, so I expect that Corgi sold a lot of this model.
