I did send away for the loco and the coaches. In fact, I’ve still them and the cardboard scenery. As a little kid, I used to have the old Lone Star treble-o-scale trains that ran on plastic track. The track was N gauge and the models were all made of die cast metal. The push around of the Shredded Wheat loco reminded me of the treble-o models and the hours of fun I had.

Hello, I have exactly the same car (only red version). I got it when I was six from my uncle from Western Germany in December 1989.. it was the best car from whole school and is super important to me. Could you restore it for me?

Autko skromne ale transformacja niesamowita. Ciagle jestem pod wrazeniem Twoich umiejetnosci w rekreowaniu szyb, opon i brakujacych czesci... jak zwykle lapka w gore! The model is rather modest yet the transformation is amazing. I am still very impressed with your skills recreating windshields, tires and all the missing parts... as always thumbs up!

Nice resto .. only thing that bugs me 21:20 .. you haven't got the base fully home against the body - big gaps around the rear bumper and bootlid

It was wonderful to see the restoration of this model. I had one very similar, but mine was made by Mamod. It was great to see it working again. Took me back to my childhood.

What a wonderful restoration of this working model. I am sure you were chuffed! This is a little joke where I am from. Chuffed is the sound the steam engine makes as the valves open and close and the steam is directed. Chuffed also means to be very happy and satisfied with an achievement.

In der Tat diesmal etwas ganz anderes. Das Ergebnis ist allerdings genauso beeindruckend wie sonst bei Deinen Fahrzeugrestaurierungen. Sehr schöne Restaurierung die der Fleischmann Dampfmaschine zu einem zweiten Leben verhilft. Wünsch Dir ein schönes Wochenende. Gruß, Joachim Właściwie tym razem coś zupełnie innego. Jednak wynik jest tak samo imponujący, jak zwykle w przypadku renowacji pojazdów. Bardzo ładna renowacja, która daje silnikowi parowemu Fleischmann drugie życie. Życzę miłego weekendu.
