A fascinating story. That said, she knew exactly what she was walking into. $65M, gifted homes, lavish trips, jewelry, luxurious lifestyle, and beyond. I don't have sympathy for her. Especially since she had children that were severely impacted by her dubious choices in life and in men. Thanks, Michelle, for bringing us this unique series!

@susanrike Absolutely right about Corrina. People who don't learn from their mistakes lose any sympathy I have for them. She made one stupid decision after another and kept making excuses to stay involved with Juan Carlos. Going out for a meal while she was cooperating with the FBI was so risky. Stupid, stupid woman.

Let us all be frank about this story. Corinna made quite a packet out of her involvement with the disgraced king, and although she "won", as you say, I am still not convinced of her innocence in the whole bizarre story. True, nothing incriminating was found against her, but to have kept 65 million Euros which was presumably a "gift", all those properties and jewellery and heaven knows what else, smacks of something more sinister to me. Good luck to her for "winning" all that bounty, but in Karmic terms, I believe there is a lot of payback coming to her. I'm sorry if I sound so sceptical, but I'm convinced that Corinna, for all her apparent innocence, was just a very astute and greedy business woman who didn't get caught. No offence to you, Michele. You did a fantastic job with this series and I enjoyed it very much. I will look forward to any future updates you may have. Many thanks.

I think Corrinna was the payback for King Juan Carlos. Nothing prepared this greedy, promiscuous, entitled man for the idea that one of his women might outwit him. I'm team Corrinna. Finally, Juan Carlos got what he deserved! 😂

I didn't take sides in this story because I only learnt the details from this channel and I found it to be very interesting. Real life drama always is. Still, when you assess character, both parties seem to me to be after money and power. They just go about it in different ways. Sadly, it's the way of the world. They are not unique. It's enough to see the likes of Markle to know that there are far worse people than Corinna or her King.

I honestly never imagined Corinna coming out of this as well as she did however her children may have not been able to recover as well through all the travesties that occurred. Thanks Michelle, your storytelling is wonderful, I really do look forward to another Royal Tale from you when you find the time. What a story! I'm rooting for Corinna in the cort case. However, she was not some stupid woman who accidentally got involved. She went into this with her eyes open. She knew his reputation but she exposed her children, particularly her son, to this man who had no moral code. I thoroughly enjoyed this series.

I lived in Spain in the early 90’s. The king was considered a very cool cat. And appreciated for saving democracy. Not once, but twice. People knew he was a womanizer and didn’t much care. That was his wife’s problem. But 5,000 women? And female hormones? I don’t think they imagined that. Oh,yeah. His daughter is in exile too. This was an excellent series!

They are still married, she lives in Spain in the Palace with her son and his wife. They have lived separate lives for most of their marriage!

For a woman who regards herself as educated, polyglot, worldly, accomplished in the corporate world and society, a mother and twice-divorced, she has made very poor choices, and in my opinion, is a very selfish person. The line that comes to mind, is "Like attracts like" ! Any person with an average I.Q. would have quickly realised that he was a creep, slimy and a dirty old man, ugh! After Michelle told us that the information she had that he had had 5,000 women in his life, I'm surprised that there is the suspicion that he may have (just) 'one' illegitimate child !!!!! I wonder how many other women he's paid off to keep quiet or got his friends to pay them off on his behalf ?!!

Thanks for covering this fascinating story but I do find it hard to have sympathy for a woman who accepted €65 million from a married man who wasn't her husband and expected there to be no strings attached or repercussions. I didn't know there was ongoing legal proceedings and it will be very interesting to see what happens. What a story. She didn't deserve the troubles she had but she is not totally innocent either and I hope she used that money to help other people and didn't just keep it for herself.🐨🇦🇺🦘.
