they didnt rework him to "be an adc" they reworked him to be more consistent and be viable on botlane again. Being viable pick on bot is not the same as being pure adc. He will still be a midlaner, but you can pick him on bot and not troll.

I remember the adc rework in season 6, where riot wanted to make 6 adcs more unique and in the end we had 3 adcs less. Especially when half the changes got removed in Patches later anyway.

@@TheArne959 the changed adc were: quinn, kog maw, graves, corki, caitlynn and miss fortune. Corki completely disappeared from bot lane, but, if the changes on pbe go live, is reverted to a state even before the rework. Graves is now jungle and no longer adc, maybe some Players go top and mid. Quinn turned into a jungler immediately after getting nerfed to death in lane (her passive was waaaay stronger then) and now plays top and jungle. Kog maw got an amazing double attack speed buff with w, but got completely reverted (they shoupd have turned his passive into getting double attack speed and only dealong on hit damage for the duration imo). MF is great, still the same. Caitlyn got a few changes with abilities which have all left iirc.

But yeah cait got the trap/heatshot mechanic quin her ult reworked. Graves was compleatly changed. Corki got the package. Ooh kog got reversed that why i didnot think of him. And mf seems thesame for like ever but yeah she had some minor tweaks Thx for explaining!

I really liked Corki as the "magid damage ADC" while not playing him as much, what sucked about this is that now he don't have exactly a personality in the game. Riot really should acknowledge his problem and go for a VGU instead of reworking and then undoing it multiple times...

try full crit corki with shadowflame - IE work on SF crits and you have true damage on auto build be some like : river + navori+colektor++infinity edge+ shadowflame+ bots( upgrade to zefir or some other item , maybe GA) if i calculate correctly is be : 15% base *(1,2shadowflame multiplayer+0,5infinity edge crit bonus)≈25% damage in form of true damage on crit ( in this build you can have 100% crit) or if we watch this from AD perspective ≈ 50% AD on every auto in form of true damage ( like small Vaine)

The support item and just the overall freedom they've given the role in general is such a welcome change, but I wish they'd revert a lot of stuff back to Season 3. I remember playing Season 3 back when I was in highschool (it literally was like 11 or 12 years ago now) and it was so much fun. The game just made sense. Now the game is just all these 200 years champions and playing adc just feels terrible. You used to have to get caught out of position as ADC to fuck up and die for no reason, now the way adc feels is like you don't even want to right click anyone because the second you're in range to shoot at someone, a tank is just going to run you down with their 30 on hit movement speed items and 10k health, and you're not going to be able to kill them even though the only thing you're building is damage. ADC season 3: Farm minions, don't dive the enemy team, stay away from assassins, attack towers when appropriate. ADC season 11-14: Hope the stars align and everyone forgets that you exist, because the second they realize you're hitting them, you're going to get stunlocked and hatefucked until you die.

I really feel like stacking to 100% crit isn't a great idea, particularly if you're skipping bloodthirster. If you're IE+75%, sure the extra 25% would help... but a lifesteal item would probably buy you at least an extra auto attack, particularly now that it has the shield back. The extra auto is worth more damage than the missed crit, and you'd be sacrificing only a tiny bit of burst.
