Today we will be tracking Cormac McCarthy's rejection of modern culture through statements made in past interviews and by analyzing aspects of his novels. In his video, I hope to dispel the myth that Comrac is anti-technology and even progress, and rather asset the point that Cormac hates what capitalism/modernity turns people into.
From a young age in Blount County, Tennessee Cormac McCarthy was exposed to the destruction of his Edenic paradise. Big business, cultural shocks, and educational enforcement were popping up all around McCarthy. McCarthy was an early Greta Thunberg of sorts 😂but, without all the shouting.

Cormac McCarthy is an American writer who we consider one of the greatest authors of all time. He was born in Rhode Island but was raised and wrote his initial works in Tennessee. However, his most famous (and best) works were written in the Southwestern United States. Below are some links and my opinion on all his books!
