Given the character, focus and leadership of the locker room and team in general, have 0 concern about adding this guy. He was a 5 star plus I think. That rating doesn't get handed out very often. Given the leadership in the locker room. I don't see him being allowed to cause distraction. Probably make an argument the locker room and culture will get him focused. He took PWO status. It shows humility and indicates he understand this is his possibly his last opportunity. With Napier and the coaching staff, anything he gets, good or bad, he will have earned from this point forward. The potential upside for him and the team is huge.

Cormani has the talent just does not have any work ethic. Missed a ton of classes when he was at CU. He got in like 2 or 3 car wrecks because he was high. Coach prime got that wiped away. Dude was in the restroom hiding so he won’t have to practice. Never watch film. And never bought in. I hope he turns it around. This could be his last P4 stop if he doesn’t. Good luck

I wonder how much Hector got paid or is going to be paid. Also, if there are no scholarships available, did a booster step up to pay his tuition bills until something opens? Look, Cormani McClain came out of high school a high 5-Star player, with people almost endlessly telling him how great he was. So without the right adult direction, its easy to see how he could be "lazy" or maybe felt he didn't need to work so hard, since everyone was telling him he was already great. Now, after being thrown out on the field prematurely at Colorado last year where he didn't do very well at all, dropping his stock considerably, and now he's coming in as a walk-on, this seems to me a good scenario for him to understand that, if he doesn't put in the effort, he's going to throw away his God-given ability and his ability to live an NFL lifestyle. Coaches just need to remind him of guys who came out of high school, or even college, real highly rated, and then didn't put in the work to rise to the next level, and today, what are they doing for work, and how much (more or less) are they making? If he doesn't put in the sweat and the effort, he's not going to be buying mom that house she always wanted and drive a Bentley. He's going to end up one of those guys who people shake their heads and say, "Gee, he coulda been a contender..."
