His high school coach statement is what hurt him. When all these coaches thought it was Prime that was his problem they wanted him. When the high school coach said he been this way from the start. But his talent got him a lot of passes. That is what raised a lot of eyebrows with the other coaches.

This is what Coach Prime had to say last year for those of you who still want to take up for this guy: "Study and prepare. Be on time for meetings, show up to the darn meetings. Understand what we're doing as a scheme. Want to play this game. Desire to play this game. Desire to be the best at this game at practice, in the film room and on your own free time. You do know I check film time from each player up on the week. Thursday, I need film time from the whole staff so I can see who’s preparing. And that's just not about Cormani. It's about a multitude of them. So, if I don’t see that you would be a fool to put somebody out there who’s unprepared," Sanders told the media.

How hypocritical are we to act like we didn't make bad decisions at 18. Cormani should feel some kind of way, because Prime recruits on the predication, that he develops men on the field and off. Cormani has some short comings and instead of working thru them you publicly tell reporters specific details about program business knowing they would run with it and make his stock plummet. if I am Cormani's parents, I have a problem with that! Coach prime could have said "when he is ready, he will be on the field" and want back to busting Cormani's ass behind the curtain so that he can bring the best out of him. Coach Prime received reports that Cormani wasn't doing what he was supposed to do and he wrote him off instead of developing him. Meanwhile back at the ranch I am seeing Travis Hunter hanging out with Sheduer. I know Cormani isn't the only kid that did this and players have done a lot worse and they are on the field. I'm excited to see how Cormani recovers from this. He needs a mentor right now more than ever.

They tried fixing his footwork on several occasions. He keeps reverting back to the same stance and footwork he used in high school. Not just Prime, Kelley and Mathis tried as well. It also seems like Livingston was working with Cormani as well. He keeps reverting back to nose over toes stance with his ass jacked up relying on his long arms to control the WR. This works against smaller 140-170 pound WRs. Now we have you grown ass men 20-24 where this is not going to fly. Cormani long speed is also questionable. This might have something to do with his conditioning, but after a few reps, the kid was only good for about 25 yards before the WRs got a step on him. I wish Cormani well, but he may need a redshirt rather by Prime or by the lack of interest to get himself right.

DO NOT MAKE EXCUSES FOR CORMANI! "He just has to find a coach and school that will stand with him" is an unfair statement. CORMANI IS AN UNDISCIPLINED young man who now needs to learn a valuable life lesson the hard way. I hope he sits in that transfer portal until the zero hour; let him sweat. Hopefully, he will shake himself out of the fog and realize that no coach worth his salt has time to babysit any player. He has to focus on a team full of other players who are grinding, doing all the work necessary to EARN THEIR SPOT on the team. CORMANI ALLOWED THAT "5-STAR" rating to GO TO HIS HEAD and now he's languishing in the portal he was so quick to jump into. He thought a coach of his preference would jump at the opportunity to snag him up. These coaches have learned who CORMANI TRULY IS....A YOUNG SPOILED, ENTITLED, UNRELIABLE, IRRESPONSIBLE & UNDISCIPLINED young man who no coach can rely on/depend on. Cormani now has a choice to make: STRAIGHTEN UP AND FLY RIGHT - MEANING: ✔GET SERIOUS AND STOP ACTING ABSURD ANYMORE. ✔ACT IN A MATURE MANNER AND GET FOCUSED. ✔STOP MISBEHAVING AND START ACTING CORRECTLY. ✔GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. ✔QUIT SCREWING AROUND. First of all he’s a grown man. Secondly he hasn’t failed because he has yet to succeed on the field. He’s barely played. And he’s still young enough. There’s nothing wrong with that. BUT He has to learn to work and earn a spot…it’s fans like you and coaches like Deion who feed these players the BS, selling them fools-gold and making them think that having 4 or 5 stars from a recruiting media source makes them a success. he needs to learn how to find his place in the world (with or without football) but he ain’t going to do it with false- hype, empty promises and followers on Social media. I wish him well as human, but football is a game and a privilege, hard work and educating yourself are necessities in real life.

@user-bd3zy6wo7l He could have enrolled early from what I understand, but didn't. He also could have shown up earlier in the summer last year but didn't. Came in out of shape and did not take coaching well. They tried fixing his stance, both Prime, Kelly, and Mathis. He reverted back to the same chin over toes stance which allows the WRs to knock him off balance with a simple shove. Carter Stoutmaire and Jayden Milner Jones were freshmen as well last year. They graded out much higher than Cormani according to PFF. I think Cormani was 51.7, Carter 67.8, Jones 65.1 if you wanted near apples to apples comparison. Where Prime messed up, he should have redshirted Cormani. The kid was not ready at all physically and mentally. Too light, bad tackler like the rest of the secondary, and a tad too slow (I'm sure conditioning played a big part) for the position. The Cormani should have spent a year developing his body, like come in at 180 instead if 165 at nearly 6'3. About a month ago Coach Mathis said Cormani was not in shape to be at spring ball. So either he has some underlining health issues, can't deal with high altitude, or has poor work ethic not to be shape during spring ball. He put on muscle weight which is great, but if your cardio is not there, you will get burnt over and over again. So my assessment, the kid was not ready yet for the spotlight. A redshirt would have made more sense for the kid.

Why would I as a coach want you to play DB for me when arguably the greatest DB of all time couldn’t get you to do the right thing. Listen young man, we all have to face ourselves some day, just make sure you do before it’s too late. You can still be the star we know you can be. Just time to grow up. Much success to him

Cant nobody control his destiny but him, like Coach Prime said Cormani was the reason he was not seeing the field, once he starts doing the right things, go to practice, study film, be Coachable, don't show up to practice high, let's be honest the 5 stars got to his head, so now humble yourself, when a school picks you up, do what they ask you to do. and never leave a school and disrespect them, not a good look. and he has to compete wherever he goes, the narrative can be change, when he decides to change it with his actions

Cormani got cooked multiple times when he got a chance to play. He was talking about not wanting to play for clicks and views, but that was the only reason Coach Prime put him on the field as a freshman, knowing he wasn't really ready. Cormani should have been grateful for the opportunity to start as a freshman.

Being a Florida man, I can certify that Florida kids are divas. South Florida kids are at another level altogether 😂. Every South Florida kid thinks that he’s an NFL player. If he doesn’t make it to the league, then it was all because of the head coach, or his position coach. So many of those guys pass up their senior year of eligibility in College, just to go undrafted every single year. Florida may have the best football talent in the country, but may also have the biggest number of unfulfilled potential/ busts, in the nation as well.

He will be alright, but he needs to learn to conduct himself like an adult he is. He burnt bridges with Florida and Miami, had Miami waiting on them while in Colorado. He said he wasn't transferring, I took him at his word and did enter into the portal. Now, just do it quiet, didn't have to take shot at people, that's how you burn more bridges. Just say hey, I like to thank the fans, administrators, and coaches for giving me the opportunity at Boulder, but it's in my best interest to take my talents elsewhere. Thanks all, you gave thanks to all and see what the transfer portal brings.

All guys, before you transfer, make sure you have a destination already. There's several guys just chilling in the portal since late winter like Willie Gains, Jahquez Robinson, McCrimmon, Eoghan Kerry, and Marvin Ham. Recent guys like Alton, Demouy, Brantley, Hopkins, JJ Hawkins, Jatta, Milliner Jones, Wallace, Slusher are still chilling in the TP after a few weeks. It closes tomorrow, and I still expect a few more of our guys to go. However, don't do it unless you have schools with confirmed interest. Otherwise you have to be a walk on going forward.

I just saw a video of a football player that was I think a 4 star, now at JUCO bcuz he was hard headed (by his own admission). Talent only gets you so far regardless of the career path you choose. We have seen so many shoulda, coulda, woulda's that are still playing basketball at the local park and living in their glory years like Al Bundy. These young men better wake up
