if you put a piece of square tubing over the bottom shaft and welded it then replaced upper pipe with square tubing that the bottom would slide up and down in and drilled holes to set depth would that stop it from moving side to side

I don’t wish danger on anyone but it’s been good to not have to dodge tornadoes in Bama lately. Ever since 07ish it’s been every year it seems with us getting bad tornadoes and this it seems to be hitting the Midwest more. Sadly though I’m afraid we’re due here for a bad one but I hope not. Lord knows I hope I never see another 4/27/11. Worst feeling in the world that way with so many tornadoes hitting and it seemed every one was EF3 or higher😳☹️

Buddy please go get you a knife rig to put your fertilizer out on your corn. Putting your fertilizer on top of the ground is ok but you are losing a lot of your fertilizer!! Just saying!! From La.

We used to have coulters on the unverferth rig at first, we tried running it in the middle of the row but we were so wide 36” in between the rows corn never got the right amount of fert, then I mounted 2 coulters per row 8” from each row and didn’t like that because we were cutting to many roots so that’s were the ydrop idea came into play 🤷‍♂️thanks for watching 👍😁
