Here in The Great Industrial Northeast, we had a couple of weeks of late summer weather in the low 80's, in late September/early October with fans on and windows open. Then bang, in one day back to normal mid-October weather with storms shut and heat on. Funny, it happens every year just about this time! 😂😂😂

We had record highs in the 90's few days ago... gonna cool off into the 50's now... 90's.. that sucks when harvesting... And the dust was insane!!!

Bill, that's my old stomping grounds. Coming down that hill, I've had cars with brake fade. It's deceptively steep and the limo was not only overloaded but had inadequate brakes for the weight it was carrying. Also, that car gained momentum as it careened down the hill. The brakes became worthless dooming the occupants. Had he not taken the shortcut and gone down route 7 to route 30, it would've had a different outcome. Truly a tragedy as they were from where I live now in Amsterdam. On a brighter note a fall drive on route 30 either down to Gilboa or north to Speculator is a fantastic way to spend a fall day looking at the changing colors. I was lucky enough when I had my business to travel to the campgrounds at this time of the year to winterize RVs and camps.

Btw, it was 18 (including the driver) not 30 and it was a wedding party not high schoolers on prom night.

Hey John, I explained that. Somehow KZbin got my username from the eBay site, tied it with Google and inspite of deleting the freetolook3727 account, still hangs on to the username. I can't get rid of it and it's quirky as sometimes my comments link to the freeto look3727 username and sometimes links comments to ToughAncientSpark. It's really annoying, I have no control over it and can't delete the link to the old username.

Been a bit hasn't it? I plan on getting back to it. Fall was busy with other things... then in December my mom passed away...two weeks later my girlfriend passed... then I got covid. Kinda got out of the groove of video making. Have the brown truck in my shop, new clutch is in, just need to get the transmission, transfer case etc... all put back in... but there will be more coming.
