Don’t know how much but we have gotten a good rain last night.

Unless every farmer has contracts to fill I would suggest holding the crops as much as possible to allow prices to go back up . Our government needs to help out more than they do
@Thomasfarmstn12 күн бұрын
Sometimes bills have to be paid first. In my opinion the government needs to stay out of farming. USDA is a crock of 💩

Russ ,hate today yours is much better than here in va. I haven't spoke to owner yet but insurance company was supposed to look few days ago. I would say maybe15 bushels per acre if lucky. Owner said he is investigating rolling it and wrapping it for high moisture feed. Had little rain but water supply is dangerous low.

15 is low. I harvest the test plot in the next video. So variety’s are not good.

I share crop about 25ac here in SE Indiana. We haven't had rain in going on 9 weeks. None in sight. My corn looks bad. Spindly stocks small ears not filled to the top. We just went under a burn ban. Crop fires could be bad this year.

We got about 5” over the weekend. I think it will help out the later soybeans here. Hope you get rain soon.

We got some Francine rain yesterday. Supposed to be more today. Whatever it is, it's too little too late for north Alabama crops. Josiah is a good young man. And that fine head of hair makes a bald guy jealous. 😅
@Thomasfarmstn17 күн бұрын
I think it will help the soybeans. Yep I use to have a head full of hair myself. When it got thin on top I just shaved my head for years. My daughter who is 14 asked me to grow it out. Yep still none on top. I’m having fun with what is left for now.
