Slow your corn head way down, should help on head lose. With the corn stalks still being green and elbowed it’s gonna be challenging for sure. As far as the concave haven’t seen them plug like that except when trying to shell with we had a shower. I’m sure a few more days of good drying days will make a big difference. Kernel looks very good, congrats on a good harvest. Be safe. 😎

Daniel, your videos are always so well produced. Nice effort on your part. Let that corn go a couple more weeks. Those leaves are too tough to break down and are plugging the concaves. The loss and dryer costs aren't worth the early harvest .

When my combine does that in tougher conditions, I close up my concave more and put more rub pressure on the them to keep them wiped clean. Seems to work decent for for us, good luck

Tighten down the concave a little at a time to push the leaves out. If that doesn’t work then speed up the rotor and that should work for you.

Y’all have plenty to do, keep an eye on it, you will know, the good lord will lay that feeling on your soul. Beautiful corn, you, Pops, and the fellas have done well.

Hey bud. Awesome video. Tell me do your walkie talkies turn to crap or just the batteries. I've found the batteries straight from the factory in China online. Cheap as chips, literally. And yes I think let that plant die off some. I know the waiting game when your plant sucks up all that ground moisture and the cob is ready. I feel your excitement for combining or chopping. That stuff would be running out the spout of the chopper/forage harvester let alone a combine. Thanks for sharing. Farm hard.

LOL there's only two comments that are close to being right for high moisture ear corn harvest I learned how from an old timer every combine is different max out your fan speed first then open your concaves all most max setting an close your header up the corn stalk can be green from top to bottom it doesn't matter set your RPM at max then fine tune your settings you will find the sweet spot for your combine just remember it will rumble a lot which is normal just saying.👍

I couldn't figure out how you were combining corn in April. Is your farm in Autauga or Lowndes County? It's been near 40 years since I farmed but if the moisture in the corn is high, moisture in the stalk is also high. Hot sun, less rain and time should help.
