CORN HUSK FLOWERS MAKING (OLD METHOD USED FOR OVER 50 YEARS)

In this video you can see how my mother in law makes corn husk flowers. All you need is some corn husk, scissors, wire and a lot of imagination.
If you want your corn husk flowers to be in color, you can dye corn husk with some fabric dyes and then make flowers as shown in this video.
You can also dye corn husk using all natural dyes that I used in my video: • Natural Easter egg dye

Yes of course you can use stiffer wire. Here I just shown how to make them, and when they are done you can use them as you like :)

you peel the corn husk from fresh corn, dry them, then dye the husks which can be stored once dried. When you need to use them, just spray water on the husk to soften the leaves, once you finish, leave the project to dry.

You can color it with any Fabric dye.

First you color the corn husk and then you make flowers. Than you can even combine colors (use 2-3 colors to make one flower).

It depends what type of dye it is (powdered or liquid or something else) Here is some random page that sells dyes so you can check it. www.dharmatrading.com/dyes/ I don't know which dyes you can buy in your country.
