We eat our corn with no idea as to how it develops. Thanks for another interesting video. We are in Canada and visited Johnson City Tennessee when a friend was working there. Seeing your videos and the beautiful countryside reminds me of our trip out there. Most beautiful place I ever visited!

I live in the desert and I have lots of bees and other insects on my oregano, peppermint, and some wild flowers. It is a sight to see! My corn did great this year, I have 2 rows. I've had lots of corn on the cob and I will need to can some of it. I love this time of year! My winter squash, yellow squash, watermelon, carrots, beets, potatoes, and so much more is doing so great. It is really helping out with the grocery bill.

The bees are also on my lavender but they are on my oregano the most. They must like the flowers on the oregano a lot. I would never have thought a garden could grow so good in the desert. The red soil is good.

Will that silver queen make good corn meal?
@metcalfmills5679 Жыл бұрын
Howdy, no, you can’t mill the sweet corn because of the sugar content. Good question, thank you!
@bradlane3662 Жыл бұрын
You need what we always called field corn. It usually gets much bigger and isn't sweet. Something like Hickory King.
