Take an ear of corn with the husk still on.Put in microwave for 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Remove from microwave and Just cut through the husk only,,at the bottom of the ear ,not cutting through the cob. Then hold the stem with a paper towell, while grabbing the husk at the top of the ear and pull.The husk and all the tassell will come off ,leaving a perfectly cooked ear of corn. Wipe some butter on it and sprinkle with a little salt and black pepper, no mess and delicious !

Yes they are! I can be out metal detecting while my food is cooking at home.
