Those combine rims have a pretty good load to support. Hopefully the new one is built stronger

I had a number at one point for the amount of weight with a full hopper and with a draper head... like around 60k lbs total??? The bigger combines with hopper extentions huge heads I would expect to be well over 70k.

It's alright... biggest complaints on it is the transmission and the cab suspension. The engine has been rock solid.

Do they eat much of the corn bales? Or just wallow it down for bedding?

If they grind it with another bale of hay it will make it stretch

If full snow covered ground, they'll clean it up good without anything blended... our cows love stover. Don't use it much for bedding, save that for regular wheat/durum or oat straw or cattails.

Nope, had the shredder since 2019. Actually used it on downed Sudan grass on its first run.
