As someone who has never spent any time on a farm, I really appreciate the time you put into making this and explaining some of the reasons why certain things were done. This was incredibly interesting. Nicely done.

Eric, you do a fabulous job on voice-overs for the drone footage. Your usual explanations are so good that it's no surprise, but helping us understand what we're looking at makes it a lot of fun. The technical information you give us is presented so that it's really understandable. I gotta say it's sometimes a bit creepy how I'll think "why do they do that?" and you'll answer it fifteen seconds later. It's good to see that your Dad isn't cheating on his rotator cuff repairs - that's make for a more complete healing. Thanks again for bringing us into your lives.

We've been fortunate to just get fleeting glimpses of your two sisters. Last season's harvest and filling the bunk and in the silo, when your dad handed them both some rakes and said, "These are self explanatory" and they replied with smiles "Gee, Thanks Dad". Your sisters always seem so happy and cheerful to be helping out on the farm. Everybody wants to help, especially your recovering dad. The voice-over @ 8:48 was something different and informative.

Eric i am amazed at the process for making silage as well as finishing the bunk. Also it is incredible to me how your harvesters can aim the shoot in order to get the silage into the trailers even when they are behind them or turning a corner. Thank you so much for show and explaining this. Glad to see your dad up and around and working with you in the tractor. Keep drinking your chocolate milk and Dew. I bought some Clover Farms chocolate milk recently. God Bless you and your entire family.

You had "dad with you to supply a little bit more weight" was funny, so glad to see him with his boy. I miss my dad but so glad to see others enjoying their time together. Boy did you have me squirming in my chair when you got soooooo close to the edge while packing it down. 5,000 lb. weight? Holy mackerel that's a whole lot of dads compressing it down. 85 loads is a whole bunch of silage. Cute baby pictures!!!

I have never seen how this is done in real life. I played a game called Farming simulator 19 and I love to do this in the game. The game has maybe 10 percent of what you do in real life. In the part of the country I live in I have never seen this. We have cattle ranches here and mostly dry land farming. I have help brand a round cattle up on a small scale. I thought I was raised country I feel like a city boy now. It looks like hard work and I wish that I would have had a chance to do this. My health don't allow me to do anything now. I miss my old dairy farm, man this brings back memories,y'all's operation is a lot different from our old operation,we used a old John Deere 5 row pull behind chopper and the wagon pulled behind that,so we started off with a old Allis Chambers 7040 tractor with a cab then we thought we was big time when we got our John Deere 4440 once the wagons was full we had to pull them sometimes a couple miles to the pit or silo and our blower was PTO driven,we milked our cows in a stantion barn 30 cows in the barn but could only milk 6 cows at a time,I still remember all the stainless pipeline, the big milk tank, and y'all who have never tried milk straight out of the cow don't know what real milk taste like,it's sweeter and creamy mmmmm, but thank you to all the farmers still in business,I truly appreciate you all because I know what hard work is

My Dad grew up on a farm in Nebraska and when we were young we would visit family there (he moved to NV when he grew up) and we enjoyed the aspects of the farm that we understood as kids. In this age, I love seeing how you explain farming, the specifics, and why things are done here on youtube. It's a great way to inform the public, most of whom would never likely have seen an operating farm in their lives. She only saw her first car 2 years ago and just made it to the USA for a short stint before we both move back permanently. She cant believe what she is seeing. She is most amazed with the corn fields as she planted corn in the mountain, but always though that each corn plant had to be at least 5 feet apart from each other, so corn was planted amongst the rice.
