Silage sure has become a scientific wonder! We used to pile the crop and cover it tight! Then nature did it's part... But I can see the sense in getting the most out of the finished product. Better for the cattle, and better in the expense of production, verses the profits in its use...

Nice and good summary. Indeed barrier films can make also a difference in good or bad silage. At Rani Plast Oy we make such barrier films with less the 1 OTR.
